{"id":2832,"date":"2018-04-24T14:28:35","date_gmt":"2018-04-24T14:28:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/northeast\/?p=2832"},"modified":"2018-04-24T14:28:35","modified_gmt":"2018-04-24T14:28:35","slug":"announcements-for-april-24-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/northeast\/2018\/04\/24\/announcements-for-april-24-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcements for April 24, 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fcbkbttn_buttons_block\" id=\"fcbkbttn_left\"><\/div><p>MAJORETTES:\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you are interested in trying out for the Northeast Majorettes for next school year, please plan on attending the practice dates on Monday, April 30th and\u00a0Tuesday, May 1st from 6PM &#8211; 8PM.\u00a0\u00a0Majorette tryouts will be held on\u00a0Wednesday May 2nd from 6PM &#8211; 8PM.\u00a0Practices and tryouts will be held in the gym. \u00a0Please bring your own baton and wear sneakers. \u00a0If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Davis or Mr. Rupnik.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The try-out date for the Liberty High School Majorette Squad is on\u00a0<\/span>Wed. May 9, 2018\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">after school at Liberty HS in the band room.\u00a0 The candidates trying out will be responsible for learning a 64-count Liberty High School routine AND developing a 32-48 count routine of their own.\u00a0\u00a0The practice\u00a0and\u00a0try-out will be held on\u00a0Wednesday, May 9, 2018\u00a0at Liberty High School as soon as our school day is over. Music is optional if you wish to bring it.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students are to bring a copy of their\u00a0most recent report card\u00a0to the try-out.\u00a0\u00a0Students\u00a0MUST march\u00a0during their entire try-out. (They should march during the Liberty High School routine &amp; their own routine.)\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please see Mr. Rupnik if you have any questions or concerns.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Today April 24th &#8211; NE Singers &#8211; all from\u00a03:10-4:15pm<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wednesday, April 25th\u00a0&#8211; Ethan Bortnick concert rehearsal from\u00a03:10-4:30pm<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">DRAMA: Dear cast of Once Upon a Mattress&#8230;it&#8217;s time to get ready for Cops &#8216;n Kids!\u00a0 Please stop by and pick up the information from Mrs. Parker regarding the performance.\u00a0 We have rehearsal\u00a0on Thursday, April 26th and\u00a0Friday, April 27th from 3:10 until 4:30\u00a0to bring all of our songs and dances back to life for the Bethlehem community. Crew&#8230;if you&#8217;d like to join us, please do!\u00a0See Mrs. Parker with any questions.\u00a0 Thank you for your time and talent!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>SPORTS<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Yesterday the Northeast Soccer team played against Whitehall. The Varsity battled but only lost 1 to Zero. The JV was able to end with a tie 2 to 2 with goals with Owen Cassel and Justin Cacears.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Come Support our team this week with two home games\u00a0on Thursday and Friday\u00a0against East Hills and Broughal, Go Hornets!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">FIELD HOCKEY: There will be a meeting\u00a0Wednesday April 25\u00a0in room A102 after school for anyone one interested in playing field hockey at Northeast or Liberty next year.\u00a0 Please see Miss Schlener with any questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB MEMBERS:\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our next meeting will be on\u00a0Wednesday, April 25th\u00a0after school in Se\u00f1orita Danner&#8217;s room B201. We will be learning about Cinco de Mayo!
