Do not just put on his desk, you must hand it to him right away. Do not be late in giving your jersey to Coach Spieker.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention all 6, 7, and 8th Grade students who plan on participating in a Fall sport next year either here at Northeast or a Liberty.\u00a0 There will be an important meeting about physicals on\u00a0Monday, May 21, 2018\u00a09th Period in the cafeteria.\u00a0 Please plan on attending if you plan to tryout for any of the fall sports.\u00a0 All participants trying out must<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">have a physical.\u00a0 Any questions please see Mr. Korcienski.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CHEER TRYOUTS for incoming 7th and 8th graders only will be held\u00a0on Tuesday\u00a0May 29th and\u00a0Wednesday May 30th from 3:30-6:30pm.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">YOU MUST COME HAVE AN INTRAMURAL FORM TO PARTICIPATE. It\u2019s based on the life of a man by the name of Jaime Escalante. He taught mathematics at a very rough high school in East Los Angeles. Gangs, violence, and drugs were common at this school, but when Jaime Escalante looked at his students, he didn&#8217;t see bad young people, he saw students full of potential and possibility. Here&#8217;s what he told his students:\u00a0<\/span><em>You are the best&#8230; Our hope for the future: Remember that!\u00a0<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jaime Escalante believed in his students, and he taught them to believe in themselves. The results?
