AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS<\/b>: Students who were chosen to be a member of Boys Group, Girls Group, and Northeast Singers are reminded that our first rehearsal will be on\u00a0Wednesday, September 12th from 3:10-4:00pm\u00a0in the chorus room. Please remind your parents of this.\u00a0 Congratulations!<\/p>\n

STEP TEAM<\/b>: If you are interested in joining our Step Team, Try-outs will be during the week of\u00a0September 24th.\u00a0 Be listening for further information if you are interested.\u00a0Practices for Step team will be\u00a0on Monday’s\u00a0and Wednesdays from\u00a03:05-4:30pm, every week through the middle of February ending with a performance at Stomp Show<\/p>\n

DEBATE CLUB<\/b>: Debate Club is open to students in all grades.\u00a0 We meet Tuesdays from\u00a03:05-4:25pm\u00a0in Room A201, Ms. Anderson’s Room.\u00a0 Our first meeting will be\u00a0Tuesday, September 25th.\u00a0 Contact Ms. Anderson if you have any questions.<\/p>\n

WORLD PERCUSSION<\/b>: 8th Graders, Mr. Huie will be starting World Percussion Ensemble Drum Auditions\u00a0on Thursday.\u00a0 He’ll be stopping by each homeroom with a pass.\u00a0They’ll take a few days, so stay tuned for when he stops by.\u00a0 IF anyone else is in 8th grade and interested in drumming, see Mr. Huie ASAP.<\/p>\n

DANCE TEAM:<\/strong> ALL STUDENTS, Mr. Huie is starting Dance Team Auditions in a few weeks!\u00a0 The Northeast Dance Team is a hiphop dance team that students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade can try out for!\u00a0 We compete and perform in different places and it is super fun.\u00a0 Check out the video and come out to try outs\u00a0Sept. 26th,\u00a0Wednesday!<\/p>\n

ARCHERY<\/b>: Attention all students interested in joining the archery team.\u00a0 There will be a general interest meeting\u00a0on Thursday\u00a0after school in Mr. Detwilers room.\u00a0 The meeting will be held in room A309 and will start right after school and end at\u00a03:45pm.\u00a0If you are interested in joining the archery team you must attend this meeting.\u00a0 Permission slips will ONLY be given out at this meeting.\u00a0 This meeting is for beginning archers as well as students on the advanced team.\u00a0 Sixth graders are welcome to join archery so please come to the meeting\u00a0on Thursday.<\/p>\n

DROP OFF TABLE<\/strong>: Student Services has a drop off table.\u00a0 If you are expecting something dropped off, please come to the Student Services drop off table for pick up.\u00a0Ms. Osorio will write you a hall pass or sign your pass.\u00a0 If you are expecting money, please see Ms. Osorio. Money will not be left on the table.<\/p>\n

BOXTOPS<\/strong>: Want to help our school raise money? Please bring in boxtops for education. Boxtops can be found on so many items! Simply cut them off and bring them to your homeroom teacher. Homeroom teachers can then send them to Mrs. Derrington or Mrs. Braido and student council will take care of the rest.<\/p>\n

SAFE TO TELL<\/strong>: It’s SAFE to Tell.” \u00a0The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner\u00a0to help remove any and all barriers<\/strong>\u00a0to education.\u00a0 You can refer your friends or yourself.\u00a0 Just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find in your homeroom, Student Services, the Library and the Main Office and drop the form in the SAFE Box or give it to your homeroom teacher who will deposit the form for you.\u00a0 Don’t worry, “It’s Safe To Tell.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
