See you then!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday, September 17, 2018 &#8211; Girls Group<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, September 18, 2018 &#8211; NE Singers &#8211; boys<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday, September 19, 2018 &#8211; No rehearsal &#8211; no school<\/li>\n<li>Thursday, September 20, 2018 &#8211; NE Singers &#8211; girls<\/li>\n<li>Friday, September 21, 2018 &#8211; Boys Group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>STEP TEAM<\/strong>: If you are interested in joining our Step Team, Try-outs will be during the week of\u00a0September 24th. Be listening for further information if you are interested.\u00a0Practices for Step team will be\u00a0on Monday&#8217;s\u00a0and Wednesdays from\u00a03:05-4:30pm, every week through the middle of February ending with a performance at Stomp Show.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DEBATE CLUB:<\/strong> Debate Club is open to students in all grades.\u00a0 We meet Tuesdays from\u00a03:05-4:25pm\u00a0in Room A201, Ms. Anderson&#8217;s Room.\u00a0 Our first meeting will be\u00a0Tuesday, September 25th.\u00a0 Contact Ms. Anderson if you have any questions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WORLD PERCUSSION:\u00a0<\/strong>8th Graders, Mr. Huie will be starting World Percussion Ensemble Drum Auditions\u00a0on Thursday, September 13. He&#8217;ll be stopping by each homeroom with a pass.\u00a0They&#8217;ll take a few days, so stay tuned for when he stops by.\u00a0 IF anyone else is in 8th grade and interested in drumming, see Mr. Huie ASAP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DANCE TEAM:\u00a0<\/strong>ALL STUDENTS, Mr. Huie is starting Dance Team Auditions in a few weeks!\u00a0 The Northeast Dance Team is a hiphop dance team that students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade can try out for!\u00a0 We compete and perform in different places and it is super fun.\u00a0 Come to try-outs\u00a0Sept. 26th,\u00a0Wednesday!<\/p>\n<p><strong>ARCHERY<\/strong>: Attention all beginner archers!\u00a0 Any archer who has their safety equipment already purchased and a completed permission slip needs to see Mrs. Papagni in room B305 during homeroom.\u00a0 No new archers for the beginner team will be accepted past today due to space limitations.\u00a0 Due to the limited number of bows available, no exceptions can be made.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CROSS-COUNTRY<\/strong>: The cross-country team had a great first race at Northampton. Our top female runners were Mikailyn Matacavage, Najow Turk, and Meia Stapleton.\u00a0 Our top 3 male runners were Owen Cassel, Derek Reusser, and Caden Vermuelen.\u00a0 Great job everyone!<\/p>\n<p><strong>CHESS AND BOARD GAME PLAYERS<\/strong>: Students 6th Grade through 8th Grade are welcome to engage in chess playing to competitive mini tournaments with specialty chess boards and small life-size pieces as well as fun filled and challenging Board games that run from RISK to Monopoly! \u00a0Learn rules and new games that builds on math concepts and\u00a0sportsmanships. Chess Club Starts on Wednesdays\u00a0October 3rd\u00a0and Strategic Game Board Club starts in\u00a0November 7<sup>th<\/sup> on WEDNESDAYS! If you have any questions see Mr. Spieker room A108 and\/or Miss Vanderstel room A101 on the 7th Grade Floor! Please stop by to pick up forms and permission slips! FORMS are outside Mr. Spieker&#8217;s room and FORMS are inside Miss Vanderstel&#8217;s room. Any questions please see them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUPERHERO RESEARCH CLUB<\/strong>: Attention all those Superheros and Villians out there! Superhero Research Club is back this year with high demand! Superhero research is only open to 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0graders. Again, open only to 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0graders. The Club will be held on every\u00a0Thursday\u00a0for one hour after school. The first day will begin on Thursday September 20<sup>th<\/sup>! All permission forms are outside room A108. There are only 20 limited spots. First come first serve in Superhero Research Club. Please have your permission slip completed and brought back to Mr. Spieker in room A108 before Wednesday September 27<sup>th<\/sup>. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Spieker in room A108 OR Miss Rinaldi in room A112.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DROP OFF TABLE<\/strong>: Student Services has a drop off table.\u00a0 If you are expecting something dropped off, please come to the Student Services drop off table for pick up.\u00a0Ms. Osorio will write you a hall pass or sign your pass.\u00a0 If you are expecting money, please see Ms. Osorio. Money will not be left on the table.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BOXTOPS<\/strong>: Want to help our school raise money? Please bring in boxtops for education. Boxtops can be found on so many items! Simply cut them off and bring them to your homeroom teacher.
