The number one benefit of donating &#8211; you will be saving numerous lives! Teachers, staff, and families are all welcome to donate! Now if one of your family members donate, you will be rewarded with a popsicle or a cookie! Remember, only 16 years old or older can donate. You need your driver&#8217;s license when you donate! Students&#8230;. ask your parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents to donate this Friday! Take home the flyer and sign up for a time that works for you! Thank you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>CONGRATULATIONS:\u00a0<\/strong>Congratulations to the Northeast What&#8217;s So Cool About Manufacturing Team for your 3rd place win at states yesterday! You all make us Northeast Proud!<\/p>\n<p><strong>EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS:\u00a0<\/strong>Be sure to see Mr. Reiss in Room A304 with your group for\u00a0the Washington, D.C. trip. Stop in during\u00a0Homeroom, during\u00a0Activity Period, or after school. Remember, all\u00a0students in the group must be present\u00a0when signing up. All groups must be\u00a0signed up by Wednesday, May 8. If you are not signed up by\u00a0Wednesday, you will be placed in a group.\u00a0Thank you<\/p>\n<p><b>PROUD POUND REDEMPTIONS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span>6th grade students may turn in their Proud Pounds on Wednesday, May 1st during homeroom at the school store.\u00a0Students may also turn in their Proud Pounds on May 8th during Activity Period and May 15th during lunch. May 15th is the last day to turn in Proud Pounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SHE&#8217;S UNSTOPPABLE CONFERENCE:<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On Wednesday, May 1, 2019 a representative will be at Northeast during all lunch periods to register any girls interested in attending the conference that will be held at Broughal Middle School on Saturday, May 11, 2019.\u00a0 The registration fee for the conference is $6 and will be taken at registration.\u00a0 If you are unable to pay the fee at registration, please let the representative know and you can still register.\u00a0 A voucher for parent&#8217;s permission will be given to those that register to bring with you to the conference.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>MATH NERDS:<\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention all math nerds or wanna-be nerds.\u00a0 We have three more days left to have fun with frustration.\u00a0 If you would like to join us for a good time with brain teasers and puzzles come to Mr. Sonntag\u2019s room, A305, on Wednesdays.\u00a0 \u00a0We meet from 3:05 &#8211; 4:25pm.\u00a0 We will meet May 1st, 8th, and 15th.\u00a0 If you have questions please see Mrs. Papagni in B305.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>WORLD LANGUAGE CLUB:\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our next meeting will be Thursday, May 2nd in Se\u00f1orita Danner&#8217;s room B201. The offense was clicking like no other. The Hornets were able to put up 5 goals and won 5 to 1. Jeffrey White had another Hat Trick with 3 goals, and Williams Castillo and Ryder Paulus both had a goal a piece. Assists were made by Ryder Paulus, Miguel Gomez, Jack Huie, and Lazaro Villeda. Unfortunately, the JV squad only had one goal by Edward Whitehead assisted by Wesley Koch and lost 1 to 3.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>SOFTBALL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wednesday, May 1, 2019 the Northeast Softball team will be playing against the faculty after school.\u00a0 Come out and support you lady hornets as they take on the teachers.\u00a0 The game will start at 3:30PM on the softball field, hope to see you there.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DROP OFF TABLE<\/strong>: Student Services has a drop off table.\u00a0 If you are expecting something dropped off, please come to the Student Services drop off table for pick up.\u00a0Ms. Osorio will write you a hall pass or sign your pass.\u00a0 If you are expecting money, please see Ms. Osorio. Money will not be left on the table.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BOXTOPS<\/strong>: Want to help our school raise money? Please bring in boxtops for education. Boxtops can be found on so many items! Simply cut them off and bring them to your homeroom teacher.
