The number one benefit of donating &#8211; you will be saving numerous lives! Teachers, staff, and families are all welcome to donate! Now if one of your family members donate, you will be rewarded with a popsicle or a cookie! Remember, only 16 years old or older can donate. You need your driver&#8217;s license when you donate! Students&#8230;. ask your parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents to donate this Friday! Take home the flyer and sign up for a time that works for you! Thank you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS:\u00a0<\/strong>Be sure to see Mr. Reiss in Room A304 with your group for\u00a0the Washington, D.C. trip. Stop in during\u00a0Homeroom, during\u00a0Activity Period, or after school. Remember, all\u00a0students in the group must be present\u00a0when signing up. All groups must be\u00a0signed up by Wednesday, May 8. If you are not signed up by\u00a0Wednesday, you will be placed in a group.\u00a0Thank you<\/p>\n<p><strong>JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY:<\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you&#8217;re interested in Law Enforcement and public service, consider attending the Bethlehem Police Junior Police Academy. Cadets will be required to attend the Academy every weekday for a 2 week period. The Academy runs from June 10 thru June 21.\u00a0 Speak with officer Elias for more details and to pick up an application.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>PROUD POUND REDEMPTIONS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span>Students may turn in their Proud Pounds on May 8th during Activity Period and May 15th during lunch. May 15th is the last day to turn in Proud Pounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>DISC GOLF:\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our next meeting will be on Tuesday May 7th. They were able to beat Harrison-Morton Middle School 6 to Zero. 2 Assists were made by Lazaro Villeda. Natalya Teran, Derek Reusser, Williams Castillo, Jeffrey White, each had 1 goal. Lazaro Villeda had 2 goals too. They will take their 7 and 4 Record today (Thursday) to Nazareth to extend their winning streak. Good Luck Hornets!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>SOFTBALL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Big thank you to the faculty who came out yesterday and played against our Lady Hornet Softball Team.\u00a0 The faculty came out strong with their pitcher Mr. Fanger, but after the first inning he could hold off the the Lady Hornets as they scored 4 runs.\u00a0 Top of the third with a triple by Mr. Fanger the faculty tied up the game at 4.\u00a0 With solid pitching from Molly Devers, who struck out Mr. Heller, and hits from Miya Williams and Leslie Padilla the team scored 2 additional runs to win the game with a score of 6-4.\u00a0 Great job Lady Hornets and to those teachers who came out to play, and hopefully the ice packs last night after the game for the teachers.\u00a0 Come out today and watch the Lady Hornets take on Lower Macungie at 4:00 pm.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DROP OFF TABLE<\/strong>: Student Services has a drop off table.\u00a0 If you are expecting something dropped off, please come to the Student Services drop off table for pick up.\u00a0Ms. Osorio will write you a hall pass or sign your pass.\u00a0 If you are expecting money, please see Ms. Osorio. Money will not be left on the table.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BOXTOPS<\/strong>: Want to help our school raise money? Please bring in boxtops for education. Boxtops can be found on so many items! Simply cut them off and bring them to your homeroom teacher.
