Stop in during\u00a0Homeroom, during\u00a0Activity Period, or after school. Remember, all\u00a0students in the group must be present\u00a0when signing up. All groups must be\u00a0signed up by Wednesday, May 8. If you are not signed up by\u00a0Wednesday, you will be placed in a group.\u00a0Thank you<\/p>\n<p><strong>JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY:<\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you&#8217;re interested in Law Enforcement and public service, consider attending the Bethlehem Police Junior Police Academy. Cadets will be required to attend the Academy every weekday for a 2 week period. The Academy runs from June 10 thru June 21.\u00a0 Speak with officer Elias for more details and to pick up an application.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>PROUD POUND REDEMPTIONS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: 7th and 8th grade students may turn in their\u00a0Proud\u00a0Pounds May 8th during homeroom at the school store. 6th grade students may turn in their\u00a0Proud\u00a0Pounds Thursday morning during homeroom at the school store. The final day to turn in Proud Pounds for all students is May 15th during lunch.\u00a0Please bring your Proud Pounds to lunch on May 15th.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>DISC GOLF: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Today, May 8th, we will depart for South Mountain Disc Golf Course at 1:45 and return to school at 4:30. Details will be provided at Tuesday&#8217;s meeting. May 8th and Thursday. See you then!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ATHLETICS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><strong>SOCCER: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Today everyone is welcome to watch after school the Faculty Teachers play against the Soccer Team at 3:30 until 4:00. Rumor has it that Mr. Sawicki is suiting up to be goalie and Officer Elias will be strapping on his cleats for a game against the Northeast Soccer Team. Come on out and have a good time!<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Northeast Soccer Team were unable to pull a win against East Hills on Monday this week. They will try to get back in win column this week on two more away games with Bethlehem Catholic and Nitschmann Middle School.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">*Please come out Monday Night on May 13th at 6:30pm at Liberty High School. The Soccer team will play under the lights at Liberty High School to battle against East Hills or Nitschmann Middle School for a possible City Championship. Come out and cheer on our Green Hornets Monday May 13th. The game will start at 6:30pm. Concession stands will be open, so please bring money. Go Hornets!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">*The Northeast Soccer Team must remember to wash their jerseys and shorts Monday night and bring them for the Soccer Team Pizza Party. In order to enjoy the snacks and pizza party, they must&#8230;MUST, bring their jerseys and shorts clean after school to Coach Spieker. Please be there for special recognitions and awards to be given out<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SOFTBALL:\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Lady Hornets Softball Team ended their regular season on a high note yesterday, beating Allen 17-1 in 3 innings.\u00a0 Molly Devers, Miya Williams, Leslie Padilla, Gabby Diaz, and Natiya Natal all had multiple hits for the Lady Hornets, and Miya Williams pitched well.\u00a0 The team wraps up their season today, playing rival Broughal in the district tournament at Freedom at 3:30pm.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DROP OFF TABLE<\/strong>: Student Services has a drop off table.\u00a0 If you are expecting something dropped off, please come to the Student Services drop off table for pick up.\u00a0Ms. Osorio will write you a hall pass or sign your pass.\u00a0 If you are expecting money, please see Ms. Osorio. Money will not be left on the table.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BOXTOPS<\/strong>: Want to help our school raise money? Please bring in boxtops for education. Boxtops can be found on so many items! Simply cut them off and bring them to your homeroom teacher.
