If you plan to attend breakfast, you are to enter as soon as you get to school. Please do not enter the cafeteria until you are directed to do so by Mr. Anderko and Mr. Katynski. You are to enter at the 7th grade patio doors<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>OPEN HOUSE:<\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Remind your parents about Open House this evening, September 5, 2019 and don\u2019t forget to tell them the name of your homeroom teacher. The evening starts at 6:30PM in the auditorium.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>ARTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AFTER SCHOOL CHORAL GROUPS: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1) Returning NE Singers &#8211; please see Mrs. Parker for a permission slip today regarding a concert this Sunday morning&#8230;check in during your lunchtime or after school, if possible&#8230;thank you! <\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2) Auditions:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Thurs, Sept 5\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211;\u00a0Auditions for students interested in Boys Group\/Girls Group\/NE Singers &#8211;<\/span>3:15-4:00 in the chorus rm D103 3) Rehearsal &amp; Performance:\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span>Fri, Sept 6 <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; NE Singers &#8211; all from 3:10-4:00,\u00a0<\/span>Sun, Sept 8 <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; NE Singers performance at Apple Days &#8211; information TBA (20 minute performance during the morning hours at Burnside Plantation &#8211; NE Singers perform from 10:15-10:35, other BASD groups will perform from 10:45 until 11:50 AM) <\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>BAND\/ORCHESTRA:\u00a0<\/strong>Attention 6th grade students: Did you play an instrument last year at your elementary school and were unable to attend summer band and orchestra rehearsal earlier this month?\u00a0 No worries.\u00a0 If you would like to still be a part of the band or orchestra this year, please stop down and see Mr. Rupnik in the band room (D102).\u00a0 It&#8217;s still not too late to be a part of the band and orchestra here at Northeast!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ATHLETICS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CROSS COUNTRY:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Any 7th or 8th grader interested in running on the Cross Country team this season, please see Ms. Tandy in room A106 or Miss Ayre in room A206.\u00a0 We have practices after school from 3:05-4:30pm.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>FIELD HOCKEY: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Any girls interested in playing field hockey, please see Miss Rinaldi (A112) or Mrs. Korhammer (D202). Field hockey practices are every day after school from 3:30-5:00 pm. You must have an approved physical in order to play.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>GIRLS VOLLEYBALL:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Congratulations to the Northeast Girls Volleyball Team for their continued victories, this season. Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity played great and brought home wins in their games against Northampton! Congratulations girls!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DISMISSAL<\/strong>: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students please note that you are not permitted to remain in the building after dismissal unless you are involved in an activity.
