Please make sure you share that with your parents. All orders are due on Friday, 10\/4\/19. Please give them to your homeroom teacher or you can give them to Mr. Korcienski in room A107. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>COPS N KIDS: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cops N Kids Book Drive. Leaders Rock 2.0 is having a Cops N Kids book drive for the next two weeks. We need as many books as we can get! All grades are welcome to donate! Turn your books in to your homeroom teacher. Whichever homeroom brings in the most books will receive a prize! Thank you for helping Cops N Kids!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>FUNDRAISER: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The SaveAround coupon book fundraiser is ending. If you haven\u2019t already done so, you must return the coupon book that was given to you or pay $25.00 for the book now. All unsold books and money for books should be given to your homeroom teacher this week at the latest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>POPCORN<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: We will be selling popcorn for hornet fives on Tuesday, October 8th during all lunches. Save five hornet fives for a bag of popcorn. We will punch the white copy only and you will still be able to use them toward your proud pounds. Please wait patiently for your table to be called to the school store for popcorn on this day. Popcorn&#8230; Mmmmmmm. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SCHOOL STORE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: The school store will be open for business during activity periods from 8:30-9:00am. We have many items for purchase, from pencils, pens, erasers, to key chains and locker accessories. When you are ready to join the PROUD society, be sure to bring your completed application along with your 7 proud pounds. Please request to come down promptly after activity period begins. Thank you and see you there! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><strong>ACTIVITIES\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>ARCHERY: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Advanced archery will continue to meet on Wednesdays after school and beginner archery will be Fridays after school. Archers please bring in your t-shirt order form by October 11 if you plan on getting an archery t-shirt. If you misplaced your order form please see Mrs. Papagni in room B305 to get another one.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>BOY SCOUTS: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Any student interested in joining the Boy Scouts, please pick up a flyer in the Student Services office. Boy Scouts will meet once a week on Tuesdays after school<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>ROCKET CLUB: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Rocket Club will begin on Oct 10 at 3:05- 4:05pm in room B201. Then every Tuesday and Thursday 3:05 -4:05pm. Students with a signed parent permission slip please attend.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>SOFTBALL SKILLS CLUB<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Attention girls in softball skills club, the meeting on Monday October 7th will start at 3:35 and go until 4:35pm. Please make sure your transportation home is aware of that. You should still change after school and head out to the softball field.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>SUPER HERO RESEARCH CLUB<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Attention Super Hero Research Club Members, this Thursday will be our second week of Super Hero Research Club. There are openings for people who are still interested in joining. Please grab a permission slip from Mr. Spieker or Ms. Rinaldi.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ARTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ATHLETICS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>BOYS BASKETBALL OPEN GYM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: 7th and 8th Grade boys.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There will be a boys basketball open gym on Monday, 10\/7 from 3:15 to 4:15pm in the Main gym for 7th and 8th grade boys only.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you have any questions, please see Coach Carlstrom in room D105.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>BOYS VOLLEYBALL: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention all boys interested in trying out for the boys volleyball team.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A brief meeting will be held Friday 10\/4 in C102 (the Health Room), paperwork and schedules will be given and you CANNOT TRY OUT if you do not have the intramural parent permission forms signed and handed to Ms Schaffrick. (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So, no paper no trying out!)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you cannot make the meeting, please see Ms. Schaffrick during Gym class or Health for the papers.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Last year was great, but this year should be AWESOME!!!!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DISMISSAL<\/strong>: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students please note that you are not permitted to remain in the building after dismissal unless you are involved in an activity.
