Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for the week of March 8<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. First, we remind everyone that we have lost an hour of sleep last evening with Daylight Savings, so remember to have set your clocks an hour ahead. It is always nice to have that extra daylight after school, but please remember that homework still is given and our children do not want to put off doing their homework too late into the evening. This week we do have an early dismissal on Wednesday for teacher in- service. Also, this week is a busy week for our Northeast Band and our Band Parents. After just hosting our own Jazz Festival this past Friday, this week our parents follow our Jazz Band who will be playing in Broughal\u2019s Jazz Festival this Friday. Not to leave anyone out, we then have our Marching Band play on Saturday in the Saint Patrick\u2019s Day Parade of Shamrocks. The parade begins at 1 p.m. starting at 10<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and Broad and then proceeds down Main Street in downtown Bethlehem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In sports, this week our softball and soccer teams are beginning the arduous task of constructing line-ups from our tryouts. This is always an extremely difficult task, because we truly want all children to enjoy being involved in whatever they choose. We commend all of the students that are trying out, and wish our student athletes the best whether it be on the field or in the classroom. Finally, this week Mr. Bailey, Liberty\u2019s Principal, will be visiting our 8<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> grade classrooms on Friday for some circle time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Have a great remainder to your weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends.
