Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our final Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for the 2019-2020 school year!\u00a0 I cannot believe we have only five days of this school year left!\u00a0 Tomorrow, Monday the 1<\/span>st,<\/span> we will be pushing out our \u201cMoving Up\u201d ceremony during its originally scheduled time at 7:00 p.m. This will be on YouTube as well as on the districts\u2019 RCN and Service Electric channels. Specific details will be sent out directly to students via email, and we will also have the link posted on our school website.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now that the state is moving our area into the yellow phase of social distancing, we are making plans to allow students to retrieve materials that were in their lockers and return equipment, specifically band uniforms.\u00a0 No other materials, including computers and Kajeets, need to be returned to school unless you are moving out of the district\u2019s area. Please remember to keep the student laptops charged and updated over the summer.\u00a0 We have finished our \u201cbagging\u201d of the belongings from our 8<\/span>th<\/span> graders\u2019 lockers, so when we get the go ahead, we will be ready to go in getting those materials into the hands of students moving onto Liberty.\u00a0 We will communicate these plans via a \u201cShout Out\u201d as well as through Schoology\/email.\u00a0 As for 6<\/span>th<\/span> and 7<\/span>th<\/span> graders\u2019, we are in the process of \u201cbagging\u201d those lockers and will communicate when we get the green light for those students to come pick up materials. Regarding refunds from money given for canceled field trips or fundraisers, most refunds have been mailed this past week.\u00a0 We thank you for your patience.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This last week of school is usually reserved for field trips, field days, picnics and celebrations, so it is difficult that so much of this we are trying to do remotely.\u00a0 It is just not the same, but we have no choice. We can only hope this will be the last time in our lives we have to conduct ourselves in this manner. Time will tell, but in our attempts to be optimistic I share with you that we have missed our children these past 12 weeks and will continue to during the summer months. However, we look forward to welcoming back next year\u2019s 7<\/span>th<\/span> and 8<\/span>th<\/span> graders and our incoming 6<\/span>th<\/span> grade. We wish the Liberty class of 2024 all the best, and we know they will make us Northeast PROUD!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Please look for your opening of school letter containing next year\u2019s homeroom assignment sometime during the 1<\/span>st<\/span> week in August.\u00a0 School opens next year on Monday, August 31<\/span>st<\/span> and hopefully we will be in school, not online. We will keep everyone informed.\u00a0 Have a wonderful summer and remember to READ!!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes nuestra familia de Northeast. \u00a1Aqu\u00ed est\u00e1 nuestro \u00faltimo “Shout Out” de Northeast para el a\u00f1o escolar 2019-2020! \u00a1No puedo creer que solo nos queden cinco d\u00edas de este a\u00f1o escolar! Ma\u00f1ana, lunes 1, tendremos nuestra ceremonia de octavo grado a las 7:00 p.m. Estar\u00e1 en YouTube y en los canales de RCN y Service Electric del distrito. Los detalles espec\u00edficos se enviar\u00e1n directamente a los estudiantes por correo electr\u00f3nico, y tambi\u00e9n tendremos el enlace publicado en el sitio web de nuestra escuela.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ahora que el estado est\u00e1 trasladando nuestra \u00e1rea a la fase amarilla de distanciamiento social, estamos haciendo planes para permitir a los estudiantes recoger sus materiales y devolver equipo, espec\u00edficamente uniformes de banda. Ning\u00fan otro material, incluyendo computadoras y Kajeets, debe ser devuelto a la escuela a menos que se mude fuera del \u00e1rea del distrito. Recuerde mantener las computadoras port\u00e1tiles de los estudiantes cargadas y actualizadas durante el verano. Terminamos de empacar las pertenencias de los alumnos de octavo grado, as\u00ed que cuando se levantan las \u00f3rdenes, estamos listos para entregar esos materiales a los estudiantes que se mudan a Liberty.\u00a0 Comunicaremos estos planes a trav\u00e9s de un “Shout Out”, as\u00ed como a trav\u00e9s de Schoology o correo electr\u00f3nico. En cuanto a los alumnos de sexto y s\u00e9ptimo grado, estamos en el proceso de empacar las pertenencias de los armarios y nos comunicaremos cuando obtengamos luz verde para que esos estudiantes vengan a recoger los materiales. Con respecto a los reembolsos del dinero, la mayor\u00eda se enviaron por correo la semana pasada. Agradecemos su paciencia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Esta \u00faltima semana de clases generalmente est\u00e1 reservada para excursiones, d\u00edas de campo, picnics y celebraciones.\u00a0 Es dif\u00edcil que gran parte de esto estemos tratando de hacerlo de forma remota. Simplemente no es lo mismo, pero no tenemos otra opci\u00f3n. Solo podemos esperar que esta sea la \u00faltima vez en nuestras vidas que tengamos que <\/span>conducirnos<\/span> de esta manera. El tiempo lo dir\u00e1, pero en nuestros intentos de ser optimistas, comparto con ustedes que hemos extra\u00f1ado a nuestros estudiantes y que continuaremos extra\u00f1andolos durante el verano. Sin embargo, esperamos darles la bienvenida a todos nuestros alumnos el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o. Le deseamos lo mejor a la clase de Liberty de 2024, \u00a1y sabemos que nos har\u00e1n ORGULLOSOS!<\/span><\/p>\n

Busque su carta de comienzo de la escuela que contiene la asignaci\u00f3n de sal\u00f3n de clase del pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o durante la primera semana de agosto.
