Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. We start our Northeast \u201cSunday Shout Out\u201d with the hope that everyone is enjoying this three-day weekend thus far and all our students, A through L, are looking forward to returning back to school Tuesday morning. \u00a0 Our first week of Hybrid school went forth without a hitch. We are always a bit nervous starting school as we want all of our children to be assigned correctly to their teams and to their classes, and with this hybrid schedule this was even more of a challenge. With that being stated, please know we do our best to place children into classes where students are challenged and also where children have the best opportunity to be successful. <\/span>As a reminder, if your child is absent from school, please use the\u00a0<\/span>Attendance Excusal Submission\u00a0<\/b>option found on our Northeast website to send your note via email.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week we will not be having any lessons pushed out tomorrow on Labor Day, but will be following up with online lessons for e-Classroom students on Tuesday. It is quite a challenge for teachers trying to balance sending out lessons virtually to e-Classroom students while teaching in-person lessons throughout the day. Please be patient as we learn how to balance this new way of teaching, as we are learning each and every day how to teach better in each of our models of instruction.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last week and this week our fall coaches have begun communicating with students that have expressed an interest in playing football, girls\u2019 volleyball, field hockey or running cross country. Should your child be interested, please tell them to see one of the coaches at school or reach out to our athletic director, Mr. Korcienski through email. Also, at the end of this week and next week we will begin enrolling our children into other after school activities and clubs. Many of our activities and clubs will begin in the beginning or end of October and will meet numerous times a week to fit the schedule of our hybrid and e-Classroom students.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our wonderful NEPTO parents are sponsoring a\u00a0<\/span>Choose Your Own Mum Sale\u00a0<\/b>through September 14th.<\/span>\u00a0<\/b> Flyers have been sent home with the details of the sale.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes nuestra Familia de Northeast. Comenzamos nuestro \u201cDomingo de Shoutout\u201d con la esperanza de que todos est\u00e9n disfrutando este fin de semana largo hasta ahora y todos nuestros estudiantes, A a L, esperan regresar a la escuela el martes por la ma\u00f1ana. Nuestra primera semana h\u00edbrida transcurri\u00f3 sin problemas<\/span>. Siempre estamos un poco nerviosos al comenzar la escuela, ya que queremos que todos nuestros estudiantes sean asignados correctamente a sus equipos y a sus clases, y con este horario h\u00edbrido esto fue un desaf\u00edo a\u00fan mayor. Esta semana no habr\u00e1 lecciones el lunes<\/span> D\u00eda del Trabajo, pero seguiremos con lecciones en l\u00ednea para los estudiantes de e-Classroom el martes. Ha sido todo un desaf\u00edo para los maestros que intentan balancear el env\u00edo de lecciones virtualmente a los estudiantes de e-Classroom mientras ense\u00f1an lecciones en persona a lo largo del d\u00eda. Tenga paciencia mientras aprendemos a balancear esta nueva forma de ense\u00f1ar, ya que aprendemos todos los d\u00edas c\u00f3mo ense\u00f1ar mejor en cada uno de nuestros modelos de instrucci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Esta semana, nuestros entrenadores de oto\u00f1o comenzar\u00e1n a comunicarse con los estudiantes que han expresado inter\u00e9s en jugar f\u00fatbol, \u200b\u200bvoleibol femenino, hockey o correr a campo.\u00a0 Si su hijo est\u00e1 interesado, d\u00edgale que vea a uno de los entrenadores en la escuela o comun\u00edquese con nuestro director atl\u00e9tico, el Sr. Korcienski por correo electr\u00f3nico. Sin embargo, no estamos seguros de cu\u00e1ndo o si se realizar\u00e1n los deportes de oto\u00f1o. Tendremos que esperar y ver. Adem\u00e1s, al final de esta semana y la pr\u00f3xima, comenzaremos a inscribir a nuestros estudiantes en otras actividades y clubes despu\u00e9s de la escuela. Esperamos que las actividades y los clubes comiencen durante el mes de octubre.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nuestros maravillosos padres de NEPTO est\u00e1n patrocinando una venta de flores hasta el 14 de septiembre. Se han enviado folletos a las casas con los detalles de la venta. <\/span>Adem\u00e1s, sintonice el canal NBC el lunes 7 de septiembre a las 8 pm para ver a nuestro profesor de m\u00fasica, el Sr. Huie, competir en el programa American Ninja Warrior. Estamos muy orgullosos de \u00e9l y no podemos esperar a ver el resultado.<\/span><\/p>\n
