Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for the week of September 13<\/span>th<\/span>. This is the week our NEPTO organization and Band parents meet on Wednesday. Our NEPTO meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and is followed by our Band Parent Meeting at 7:00 p.m. We will post the Zoom link on our school website at 5:30 p.m. for our NEPTO meeting, and our Band parents will send out their link individually to parents. Remember that our NEPTO organization is still selling coupons for Mums as a fall fundraiser. Nothing goes better with fall being around the corner than mums on the front porch.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This being our third week of school we are starting to observe some of our students struggling with the completion of their work, particularly their on-line assignments. We need to remind our parents to stay on top of your children\u2019s school performance through our Parent Portal and Schoology. We are trying our best to keep you as parents and guardians up to date with everything we are expecting of your children. Should you have difficulty or issues accessing your child\u2019s information, please reach out to your child\u2019s Team Leader or Homeroom teacher immediately.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We begin our fall sports programs this week. Children in grades 7<\/span>th<\/span> and 8<\/span>th<\/span> may try out for football, field hockey, girls\u2019 volleyball, cheerleading and cross country. We do allow 6<\/span>th<\/span> graders to participate in cross country. We will be complying with all health and safety protocols outlined by the district for these sports to commence. These protocols will be sent home with participating athletes so parents can do their part, especially when children are coming to school to practice on a day when they are scheduled for at-home learning. E-Classroom and BASD cyber students are permitted to try out as well. Should you have any questions, please reach out to our athletic director, Mr. Jim Korcienski.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lastly, we remind you that this Wednesday, September 16<\/span>th<\/span>, originally scheduled as a half day for students, has been changed to a <\/span>full day<\/b> of instruction for our students. Thank you and have a great remainder to your weekend!<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familia y Amigos de Northeast. Aqu\u00ed est\u00e1 nuestro \u201cShout Out\u201d de Northeast de la semana del 14 de septiembre. Esta es la semana en que nuestra organizaci\u00f3n NEPTO y los padres de la banda se re\u00fanen el mi\u00e9rcoles. Nuestra reuni\u00f3n de NEPTO comienza a las 6:00 p.m. y es seguido por nuestra reuni\u00f3n de padres de banda a las 7:00 p.m. Publicaremos el enlace Zoom en el sitio web de nuestra escuela a las 5:30 p.m. para nuestra reuni\u00f3n de NEPTO, y los padres de nuestra banda enviar\u00e1n su enlace individualmente a los padres. Siendo esta nuestra tercera semana de clases, estamos comenzando a observar a algunos de nuestros estudiantes luchando con la finalizaci\u00f3n de su trabajo, particularmente sus asignaciones en l\u00ednea. Necesitamos recordarles a nuestros padres que se mantengan al tanto del desempe\u00f1o escolar de sus hijos a trav\u00e9s de nuestro Portal para padres y Schoology. Hacemos todo lo posible para mantenerlos al d\u00eda como padres y tutores con todo lo que esperamos de sus hijos. Si tiene dificultades o problemas para acceder a la informaci\u00f3n de su hijo, comun\u00edquese con el l\u00edder del equipo o el maestro de sal\u00f3n de su hijo de inmediato.<\/span><\/p>\n

Comenzamos nuestros programas deportivos de oto\u00f1o esta semana. Los ni\u00f1os de s\u00e9ptimo y octavo grado pueden probar para los equipos de f\u00fatbol, \u200b\u200bhockey, voleibol, porristas y correr a campo. Permitimos que los estudiantes de sexto grado participen en correr a campo. Cumpliremos con todos los protocolos de salud y seguridad descritos por el distrito para que comiencen estos deportes. Estos protocolos se enviar\u00e1n a casa con los atletas participantes para que los padres puedan hacer su parte, especialmente cuando los estudiantes vienen a la escuela a practicar en un d\u00eda en el que est\u00e1n programados para el aprendizaje en casa. Los estudiantes de E-Classroom y<\/span> BASD Cyber tambi\u00e9n pueden probar. Si tiene alguna pregunta, comun\u00edquese con nuestro director deportivo, el Sr. Jim Korcienski.<\/span><\/p>\n
