Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for this week which ends with the start of October. This week we will hit the official mid- point for the quarter; and if you have not checked on your child\u2019s grades on Schoology, please do so.\u00a0 Because this year has been like no other year we have ever experienced, we are mailing home Interim Progress Reports, as we believe some of our children are struggling online and not letting anyone know. <\/span>If you need assistance or access to your Parent Portal information in order to check on your child\u2019s progress before you receive the progress report, please call the main office at 610-868-8581 and ask for Mrs. Rodriquez.\u00a0 All teachers are using Schoology, and this student information system will give you more information than the Interim Progress Report and is excellent at providing information on your child\u2019s daily progress in classes. And again, should you have any concerns about your child\u2019s progress and grades please do not hesitate to get in touch with your child\u2019s guidance counselor or Team Leader.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week in school we do have our school pictures scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.\u00a0 E-Classroom students are invited in to have pictures taken and should report to school checking into the Student Services office after 2:15 p.m. and before 3 p.m. on either day.\u00a0 If this is not favorable, individual appointments may be made with Christmas City Studios.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, this week we are beginning with some of our after-school clubs and activities. If your child is involved in one of our \u201cextra-curricular\u201d activities, please communicate with one another the particulars of the activity and ways and means of pick up or drop off here at school. With so much happening, it is important that parents know the details of what the children are doing and how they are getting to and from the activity they are involved in.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In fall sports we are in our second week of practice and looking forward to beginning inter-district play next week. We continue to encourage safe, healthy practices with our children and will ask the same when competition begins next week. We do not know as of yet what we can expect regarding allowance of fans at our events. Coaches will communicate with parents once these decisions are made.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, please note that tomorrow is a holiday, Yom Kippur.\u00a0 No lessons will be pushed out by teachers until Tuesday. Have a great remainder to your three-day weekend!<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familia y Amigos de Noreste. Esta semana llegaremos al punto medio oficial del trimestre, y si no ha verificado las calificaciones de su hijo en Schoology, h\u00e1galo. Debido a que este a\u00f1o ha sido como ning\u00fan otro a\u00f1o que hayamos experimentado, estamos enviando informes de progreso a la casa, ya que creemos que algunos de nuestros ni\u00f1os est\u00e1n luchando en l\u00ednea y no se lo dicen a nadie. Si necesita ayuda o acceso a la informaci\u00f3n de su portal para padres para verificar el progreso de su hijo antes de recibir el informe de progreso, llame a la oficina principal al 610-868-8581 y pregunte por la Sra. Rodr\u00edguez. Todos los maestros utilizan Schoology y este sistema de informaci\u00f3n para estudiantes le brindar\u00e1 m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n que el informe de progreso provisional y es excelente para brindar informaci\u00f3n sobre el progreso diario de su hijo en las clases. Los estudiantes de E-Classroom est\u00e1n invitados a tomarse fotograf\u00edas y deben reportarse a la escuela registr\u00e1ndose en la oficina de Servicios Estudiantiles despu\u00e9s de las 2:15 p.m. y antes de las 3 p.m. en cualquier d\u00eda. Si esto no es favorable, pueden hacer citas individuales con Christmas City Studios.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, esta semana comenzamos con algunos de nuestros clubes y actividades. Si su hijo est\u00e1 involucrado en una de nuestras actividades, comun\u00edquese con su hijo los detalles de la actividad y las formas y medios de recogerlo o dejarlo aqu\u00ed en la escuela. Con tantas cosas sucediendo, es importante que los padres sepan los detalles de lo que est\u00e1n haciendo los ni\u00f1os y c\u00f3mo van y vienen de la actividad en la que participan.<\/span><\/p>\n

En los deportes de oto\u00f1o, estamos en nuestra segunda semana de pr\u00e1ctica y esperamos comenzar a jugar entre distritos la pr\u00f3xima semana. Estamos siguiendo pr\u00e1cticas seguras y saludables con nuestros ni\u00f1os y pediremos lo mismo cuando comience la competencia la pr\u00f3xima semana. A\u00fan no sabemos qu\u00e9 podemos esperar con respecto a la asignaci\u00f3n de fan\u00e1ticos en nuestros eventos. Los entrenadores se comunicar\u00e1n con los padres una vez que se tomen estas decisiones.<\/span><\/p>\n
