Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for the first full week of October. This week we see our first quarter Interim Progress Reports getting mailed out on Friday. It has been quite an adjustment for all of us, so let us use the information to help us plan on what we need to do to be as successful as possible in this very trying time for everyone. Should you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child\u2019s homeroom teacher, team leader or guidance counselor.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Many of our before and after school activities and clubs are now getting up and running and communication is key. If your child is involved in one of our \u201cextra-curricular\u201d activities, please communicate with one another the particulars of the activity and ways and means of pick up or drop off here at school. With so much happening it is important that parents know the details of what the children are doing and how they are getting to and from the activity they are involved in. Communication is vital to keeping everything running smoothly and safely. Should you have particular questions regarding our activities and clubs, please feel free to contact Mrs. Bush here at school extension 42902.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our first athletic games of the fall season begin this week. Our cross-country team has a meet on Monday at Freedom High School starting at 4PM. Our girls\u2019 volleyball and field hockey teams play on Tuesday and Friday. This week both our teams start out their respective seasons at East Hills on Tuesday. The teams then turn around and host games here at Northeast against East Hills on Friday. All games are at 4:00 p.m. Our football team opens up inter-district play this week against East Hills on Thursday at home. This game is also slated to begin at 4:00 p.m. No fans are permitted to be on the fields and are asked to social distance up on the sidewalk. This also holds true for field hockey as well. \u00a0 Tickets for a family member to attend the volleyball games will be distributed by the volleyball coaches to the players, as attendance is limited. No other fans will be permitted. Social distancing will be required, and everyone must wear a mask covering their nose and mouth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, a reminder from our Parent Association regarding their fundraiser. The mum orders must be turned in by no later than Wednesday, October 7<\/span>th<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familia y Amigos de Noreste. Esta semana vemos que nuestros Informes de Progreso del primer trimestre se env\u00edan por correo el viernes. Ha sido todo un ajuste para todos nosotros, as\u00ed que usemos la informaci\u00f3n para ayudarnos a planificar lo que debemos hacer para tener el mayor \u00e9xito posible en este momento tan dif\u00edcil para todos. Si tiene preguntas o inquietudes, no dude en comunicarse con el maestro de sal\u00f3n, el l\u00edder del equipo o el consejero escolar de su hijo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Muchas de nuestras actividades y clubes antes y despu\u00e9s de la escuela est\u00e1n comenzando a funcionar y la comunicaci\u00f3n es clave. Si su hijo est\u00e1 involucrado en una de nuestras actividades, comun\u00edquese con su hijo los detalles de la actividad y las formas y medios de recogerlo o dejarlo aqu\u00ed en la escuela. Con tantas cosas sucediendo, es importante que los padres sepan los detalles de lo que est\u00e1n haciendo los ni\u00f1os y c\u00f3mo van y vienen de la actividad en la que participan. La comunicaci\u00f3n es vital para que todo funcione sin problemas y de forma segura. Si tiene preguntas particulares sobre nuestras actividades y clubes, no dude en comunicarse con la Sra. Bush en la extensi\u00f3n de la escuela 42902.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nuestros primeros juegos atl\u00e9ticos de la temporada de oto\u00f1o comienzan esta semana. Nuestro equipo de correr a campo tiene un encuentro el lunes en Freedom High School a partir de las 4PM. Nuestros equipos femeninos de voleibol y field hockey juegan el martes y viernes. Esta semana nuestros dos equipos comienzan sus respectivas temporadas en East Hills el martes. Luego, los equipos se dan la vuelta y organizan juegos aqu\u00ed en Northeast contra East Hills el viernes. Todos los juegos son a las 4:00 p.m. Nuestro equipo de f\u00fatbol abre el juego entre distritos esta semana contra East Hills el jueves en casa. Este juego tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 programado para comenzar a las 4:00 p.m. No se permite fan\u00e1ticos en el campo y se les pide que se alejen socialmente en la acera. Esto tambi\u00e9n es v\u00e1lido para el field hockey. Los entrenadores de voleibol distribuir\u00e1n a los jugadores boletos para que un miembro de la familia asista a los juegos de voleibol, ya que la asistencia es limitada. No se permitir\u00e1n otros fan\u00e1ticos. Se requerir\u00e1 el distanciamiento social y todos deben usar una m\u00e1scara que cubra la nariz y la boca.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Finalmente, un recordatorio de nuestra Asociaci\u00f3n de Padres sobre su recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos. Los pedidos de flores deben entregarse lo m\u00e1s tardar el mi\u00e9rcoles 7 de octubre.<\/span><\/p>\n
