Students that are <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">interested please fill out the Google form <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">on Mr. Huie&#8217;s schoology page.<\/span> If there are any questions, please contract Mr. Huie as soon as possible.<\/li>\n<li><strong>HOMEWORK CLUB:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">8th grade homework club will be meeting <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in room B305 from 3:05 to 4:05pm on <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wednesdays and Thursdays. Catch up on <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">missing assignments and get help with your <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">work. If you have any questions please <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">see Mrs. Papagni in room B305.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>SUPER HERO or SUPER VILLAINS CLUB<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Attention all those Super Heros or Super Villains out there! Superhero Research Club is back this year with high demand! Superhero research is only open to ALL grade THIS YEAR! Again, open TO ALL grades THIS YEAR! The Club will be held on every TUESDAY FOR A-L HYBRID LEARNERS AND every THURSDAY M-Z HYBRID LEARNERS for one hour after school. The first days will begin on Tuesday October 6<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and Thursday October 7<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. We are only allowing 26 total students, which means only 13 students on both days, so sign up before you lose out! Please have your permission slips completed and brought back to your homeroom teacher. Mr. Spieker or Ms Rinaldi will receive it in our school mailbox. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Spieker in room A108 or Ms Rinaldi in room A112.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>THOUGHT OF THE DAY<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Every day we pause for one minute and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">listen to the wisdom of others. We do this <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">because it&#8217;s important to educate our minds <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">as well as our hearts if we are going to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">become successful human beings.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now listen to what Ben Franklin has to say:<\/span> <em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Without freedom of thought, there can be <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em>no such thing as wisdom.<\/em> In other words, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">our freedom of thought allows us to think <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">about our choices. And because we have <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">this freedom to think for ourselves, we can <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">decide what&#8217;s really important to life&#8230; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">what&#8217;s right and what&#8217;s wrong&#8230; What&#8217;s <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wise and what&#8217;s foolish&#8230; what&#8217;s responsible <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and what&#8217;s not. In a nutshell, our freedom <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of thoughts allows us to make wiser <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">choices. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Today, exercise your freedom to think before you choose and you&#8217;ll choose more wisely. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>BREAKFAST<\/b>: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention all students: The cafeteria is now serving free breakfast and lunch meals for all students every day until the end of December. You heard that right&#8230; free breakfast and lunch meals! All students automatically qualify and no form needs to be submitted. Take advantage of this program and join us in the cafeteria for your free breakfast and lunch each day that you are in school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>LUNCH<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Students can drop off money for deposit in the morning to the breakfast cashier or Mrs. Cabrera. The money or check must be in an envelope with the student&#8217;s name and ID number. All funds will be deposited onto student accounts after the breakfast service. Cashiers <\/span><b>will not <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">accept cash during lunch.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SAFE: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It&#8217;s SAFE to Tell.&#8221; The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner to help remove any and all barriers to education. You can refer your friends or yourself. Just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find in your homeroom, Student Services, the Library and the Main Office and drop the form in the SAFE Box or give it to your homeroom teacher who will deposit the form for you. Don&#8217;t worry, &#8220;It&#8217;s Safe To Tell.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>DISMISSAL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Students please note that you are not permitted to remain in the building after dismissal unless you are involved in an activity. If you are waiting for a friend please wait outside the building.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WATER FOUNTAINS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Water fountains are only to be used to fill up water bottles and not to be used for getting drinks. Students are allowed to bring a water bottle with them every day and are encouraged to do so!
