Help make <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">someone&#8217;s winter warmer by donating <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">your <\/span><b>gently used <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">coats and jackets. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Donations can be dropped off in Student <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Services. See Mrs. Bush in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Student Services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SCHOOL STORE:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The school store will be opening this <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">week on Thursday and Friday. The school <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">store will be open on day 2 of each <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">cycle. So ask your homeroom <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">teachers to come on down and check out<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Northeast&#8217;s school store!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THANKSGIVING DRIVE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Student Leadership is holding its annual <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thanksgiving basket food drive. Each <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">homeroom should have received a list of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">items we are collecting. Our goal is to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">get 30 baskets completed with a full <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thanksgiving meal, so that we can help <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">out some of our families right here at <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Northeast! Homerooms with completed <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">baskets will be entered into a drawing <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">for a prize!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>ARTSMART<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span> This is the last week to join ArtSmart! \u00a0We still have space in the Creative \u00a0Writing class on Tuesdays and the \u00a0Jewelry Making class on Wednesdays. \u00a0Both classes are held after school from \u00a03:10 pm to 4:10 pm. If you are interested, \u00a0please pick up a permission slip in \u00a0Student Services!<\/li>\n<li><b>D<\/b><b>ANCE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Try outs for dance team start next week! <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They will be Tuesday and Wednesday, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">October 13th and 14th. The Lady Hornets were <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cDETERMINED\u201d to do their best!!!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Varsity W O N both games! <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Game 1 was a real nail biter 25-22<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and Game 2 Varsity shook off their nerves <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and pulled off a 25-16 win!!!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jv lost the first game 12 &#8211; 25 &amp; rallied <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">during game two but lost in the end 23 \u2013<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">25.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are so Northeast PROUD of all of you!!<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Every game is chance to learn, develop <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">skills, build confidence, and grow as a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">team!!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THOUGHT OF THE DAY<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Every day we pause for one minute and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">listen to the wisdom of others. And because we have <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">this freedom to think for ourselves, we can <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">decide what&#8217;s really important to life&#8230; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">what&#8217;s right and what&#8217;s wrong&#8230; What&#8217;s <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wise and what&#8217;s foolish&#8230; what&#8217;s responsible <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and what&#8217;s not. In a nutshell, our freedom <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of thoughts allows us to make wiser <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">choices. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Today, exercise your freedom to think before you choose and you&#8217;ll choose more wisely. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>BREAKFAST<\/b>: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention all students: The cafeteria is now serving free breakfast and lunch meals for all students every day until the end of December. You heard that right&#8230; free breakfast and lunch meals! All students automatically qualify and no form needs to be submitted. Take advantage of this program and join us in the cafeteria for your free breakfast and lunch each day that you are in school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>LUNCH<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Students can drop off money for deposit in the morning to the breakfast cashier or Mrs. Cabrera. The money or check must be in an envelope with the student&#8217;s name and ID number. All funds will be deposited onto student accounts after the breakfast service. Cashiers <\/span><b>will not <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">accept cash during lunch.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SAFE: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It&#8217;s SAFE to Tell.&#8221; The SAFE Team exists to help students with problems in a confidential manner to help remove any and all barriers to education. You can refer your friends or yourself. Just fill out the SAFE to Tell form which you can find in your homeroom, Student Services, the Library and the Main Office and drop the form in the SAFE Box or give it to your homeroom teacher who will deposit the form for you. Don&#8217;t worry, &#8220;It&#8217;s Safe To Tell.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>DISMISSAL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Students please note that you are not permitted to remain in the building after dismissal unless you are involved in an activity. If you are waiting for a friend please wait outside the building.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WATER FOUNTAINS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Water fountains are only to be used to fill up water bottles and not to be used for getting drinks. Students are allowed to bring a water bottle with them every day and are encouraged to do so!
