COAT DRIVE<\/b>:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The Community School office is holding <\/span>the first annual COAT DRIVE! Help make <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>someone’s winter warmer by donating <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>your <\/span>gently used <\/em>coats and jackets. <\/span>Donations can be dropped off in Student <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Services. Questions? See Mrs. Bush in <\/span>Student Services.<\/span><\/p>\n

PROUD SOCIETY:<\/b>\u00a0<\/b>Good morning Northeast. We are excited to <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>kick off our proud society events this year<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>with our first taking place in December. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>We will hold an ice cream and movie social <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in the auditorium for the first 20 students <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>who earn entry into the Proud Society. In<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>addition, you will receive a free Northeast<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Proud T-shirt. So, check your Schoology<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>profile for your virtual hornet fives and<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>proud pounds and when you have enough to<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>enter, fill out the online application form<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>provided by your homeroom teachers.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Please see Mr. Wynn in A103 or your <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>homeroom teachers with any questions.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Have a wonderful day! <\/span><\/p>\n

SCHOOL SPIRIT WEEK:<\/strong> Next week begins our School Spirit Week as we finish our Fall Sports season with our Football Team taking on cross town rivals Nitschmann Middle School. To show how much school spirit we have, here is a list of activities we will have next week to show our spirit:
\n*Monday 11\/2 – Virtual Pajama Day<\/em> (Post a picture of you in your favorite pajamas on the Northeast Community Schoology Page)
\n*Tuesday 11\/3 – Virtual Hat Day<\/em> (Post a picture of you wearing your favorite, weird, or unusual hat on the Northeast Community Schoology Page)
\n*Wednesday 11\/4 – Sports Team Jersey (or T-shirt) Day <\/em>Wear your favorite sports team jersey or t-shirt, or post a picture on the Northeast Community Schoology Page if you are virtual that day.
\n*Thursday 11\/5 – Green and White Day<\/em> to support our football team and cheerleaders, or post a picture on the Northeast Community Schoology Page if you are virtual that day.
\n*Friday 11\/6 – Mix Match Day<\/em>, or post a picture on the Northeast Community Schoology Page if you are virtual that day.<\/p>\n

THANKSGIVING DRIVE<\/b>:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Student Leadership is holding its annual <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Thanksgiving basket food drive. Each <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>homeroom should have received a list of <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>items we are collecting. Our goal is to <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>get 30 baskets completed with a full <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Thanksgiving meal, so that we can help <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>out some of our families right here at <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Northeast! Homerooms with completed <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>baskets will be entered into a drawing <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>for a prize!<\/span><\/p>\n
