Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for the week of November 8<\/span>th<\/span>. We start by thanking all of the parents and teachers that took time to complete the survey put out by the District regarding our current implementation of our hybrid instruction as well as the eClassroom instruction. This information is invaluable as we continue to improve the education we are providing our children, especially in light of the unfortunate turn in how this COVID virus is impacting us presently. Superintendent Roy will continue to keep our community and families updated during this very trying time, and believe us; he will do all he can to be sure our District manages this virus to the best of our ability. As a school we will continue to push out important information through our communication channels as well.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In school this week, teachers are in the process of finalizing first quarter grades as the quarter officially closed this past Friday. Please make sure your child has turned in all of the necessary work to help their grade reflect their best efforts. Your children\u2019s performance will be shared with you during our \u201cvirtual\u201d Student Led Conferences scheduled for the 23<\/span>rd<\/span> and 24<\/span>th <\/span>of this month. Please be sure to sign up with your team of teachers for our conferences, as this is the first time we will be conducting our Student Led Conferences virtually. Note, however, that our Student Led Conference process does not preclude you from scheduling an individual team meeting with your child\u2019s teachers or team. However, our Student Led Conference process is meant to place the ownership of a students\u2019 performance where it belongs, with the student. If you wish to schedule a team meeting, please reach out to your child\u2019s homeroom teacher or your child\u2019s team leader to help you with that process.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As we move into this week, <\/span>Northeast will have picture retakes on Wednesday, November 11<\/span>th<\/span> and Thursday, November 12<\/span>th<\/span>. Parents please note that you must order packages online, and the flyer and link for those orders can be found on our website. The code for Northeast is NEMS20.\u00a0 All hybrid students can have their picture retaken on the day they are in the school, while eClassroom students can come into Northeast any time between 8:30am-10:00am on either of those two days. Please enter the school at the Student Services Office.<\/span><\/p>\n

We hope to have nice weather for our annual Walk-a-Thon on Thursday and Friday. All students who donate will have the opportunity to participate during their scheduled in school day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, information has been distributed to all students asking for Thanksgiving basket donations for some of our families. All donations should be brought in by this Friday, November 13<\/span>th<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familia y Amigos de Northeast. Comenzamos agradeciendo a todos los padres y maestros que tomaron tiempo para completar la encuesta realizada por el distrito con respecto a nuestra implementaci\u00f3n actual de nuestra instrucci\u00f3n h\u00edbrida y eClassroom. Esta informaci\u00f3n es invaluable a medida que continuamos mejorando la educaci\u00f3n que le brindamos a nuestros estudiantes. El desempe\u00f1o de sus hijos ser\u00e1 compartido con usted durante nuestras conferencias “virtuales” programadas para el 23 y 24 de este mes. Por favor aseg\u00farese de inscribirse con su equipo de maestros para nuestras conferencias, ya que esta es la primera vez que realizaremos nuestras conferencias de manera virtual. Sin embargo, tenga en cuenta que nuestro proceso de conferencias dirigidas por estudiantes no le impide programar una reuni\u00f3n individual con los maestros o el equipo de su hijo.
