Help make <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">someone&#8217;s winter warmer by donating <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">your <\/span><em>gently used <\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">coats and jackets. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Donations can be dropped off in Student <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Services. We are excited to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">kick off our proud society events this year<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">with our first taking place in December. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We will hold an ice cream and movie social <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in the auditorium for the first 20 students <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">who earn entry into the Proud Society. In<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">addition, you will receive a free Northeast<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Proud T-shirt. So, check your Schoology<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">profile for your virtual hornet fives and<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">proud pounds and when you have enough to<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">enter, fill out the online application form<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">provided by your homeroom teachers.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please see Mr. Wynn in A103 or your <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">homeroom teachers with any questions.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Have a wonderful day!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SCHOOL STORE:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The school store will be open on Day 2 this <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">week Wednesday and Thursday during<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hornet block. That nagging voice in the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">back of your mind kept saying, \u201cI really <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">should be finishing that project.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Days go by, and you keep saying to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">yourself, \u201cI really do need to get that job <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">finished!\u201d But you put it off, and then you <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">start to feel guilty. Then you start to feel <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">bad about yourself because you feel guilty. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It can make you tired just thinking about <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">it.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The trick it to take all that energy that <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">you would spend worrying about it and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">feeling guilty about it, and just do it !\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Finish the job and then get on with <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">something else. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Today, do yourself a favor. If there\u2019s a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">task that needs completing, quit hanging <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">on to it. Complete the task and take a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">load off!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>BREAKFAST<\/b>: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention all students: The cafeteria is now serving free breakfast and lunch meals for all students every day until the end of December. You heard that right&#8230; free breakfast and lunch meals! All students automatically qualify and no form needs to be submitted. Take advantage of this program and join us in the cafeteria for your free breakfast and lunch each day that you are in school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>LUNCH<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Students can drop off money for deposit in the morning to the breakfast cashier or Mrs. Cabrera. The money or check must be in an envelope with the student&#8217;s name and ID number. All funds will be deposited onto student accounts after the breakfast service. Cashiers <\/span><b>will not <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">accept cash during lunch.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SAFE: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It&#8217;s SAFE to Tell. The SAFE Team exists<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to help students with problems in a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">confidential manner to help remove any and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">all barriers to education. You can refer <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">your friends or yourself. It&#8217;s now safer and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">easier to tell: just fill out the SAFE to Tell <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">form which you can find ONLINE in your <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">guidance counselor&#8217;s resources folder.
