Good afternoon Northeast Families and Friends. This is our weekly Shout Out for the week of December 7<\/span>th<\/span>.\u00a0 As we continue to forge our way through these days of the pandemic, we can only hope things will begin to look more optimistic. We strongly encourage families to plan for the worst and continue to hope for the best with regard to our health and the health of our community. We also ask that you maintain your vigilance for proper social distancing, masking, and hand hygiene as we all do our best to stay well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Superintendent, Dr. Roy, has done his best to keep our district running and our community educated and informed about the challenges we face.\u00a0With that being stated, please be sure to watch the videos Dr. Roy is producing and also check in to our website, both district and school, for the latest information.\u00a0This is particularly important now, as the State has put forth more stringent guidelines regarding the pandemic and what a district and school\u2019s response should be when operating <\/span>in-person<\/span><\/i> instruction. This information can be found on our district and school websites where we ask you to look first should we suddenly have to go virtual due to a virus spread.\u00a0If we would need to suddenly go to an all-virtual model, the plan would be to run our hybrid <\/span>in-person<\/span><\/i> instruction virtually.\u00a0A copy of this schedule is on our school website. I<\/span>f this were to occur, <\/span>one positive aspect would be that our eClassroom students would be expected to join our hybrid children virtually each day following this same schedule.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On a sad note, we have nothing to report regarding outside of school events or activities because of our status in this pandemic. \u00a0 Typically at this time of the season we would be prepping for holiday basketball tournaments and winter concerts, but this year we must be happy with what we can accomplish virtually.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In closing, please be safe and continue to treat everyone with compassion and grace. Also, be sure to treat yourself with the same compassion and grace you give to others. We are very proud of everyone for what we see on a daily basis. Be well, and take care of yourself and others. Have a great remainder to your weekend and please stay healthy and mindful of what you can do to keep others healthy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familias y Amigos de Northeast. A medida que continuamos abri\u00e9ndonos camino en estos d\u00edas de pandemia, solo podemos esperar que las cosas comiencen a verse m\u00e1s optimistas. Recomendamos que las familias planifiquen para lo peor y sigan esperando lo mejor con respecto a nuestra salud y la salud de nuestra comunidad. Esto es particularmente importante ahora, ya que el estado ha establecido pautas m\u00e1s estrictas con respecto a la pandemia y cu\u00e1l debe ser la respuesta del distrito y la escuela cuando se opera la instrucci\u00f3n en persona. Si esto sucediera, un aspecto positivo ser\u00eda que se esperar\u00eda que nuestros estudiantes de eClassroom se unieran a nuestros estudiantes h\u00edbridos virtualmente todos los d\u00edas siguiendo este mismo horario.<\/span><\/p>\n

En una nota triste, no tenemos nada que informar con respecto a eventos o actividades fuera de la escuela debido a nuestro estado en esta pandemia. Por lo general, en esta \u00e9poca de la temporada nos estar\u00edamos preparando para los torneos de baloncesto navide\u00f1os y los conciertos de invierno, pero este a\u00f1o debemos estar contentos con lo que podemos lograr virtualmente.<\/span><\/p>\n

Para terminar, mant\u00e9ngase seguro y contin\u00fae tratando a todos con compasi\u00f3n y gracia. Adem\u00e1s, aseg\u00farese de tratarse a s\u00ed mismo con la misma compasi\u00f3n y gracia que le da a los dem\u00e1s. Estamos muy orgullosos de todos por lo que vemos a diario. Est\u00e9 bien y cu\u00eddese y cuide a los dem\u00e1s. Que tenga un buen descanso de su fin de semana y por favor mant\u00e9ngase saludable y consciente de lo que puede hacer para mantener a los dem\u00e1s saludables.<\/span><\/p>\n
