Good afternoon Northeast Families and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for the week of January 10<\/span>th<\/span> and our first week back to our Hybrid, in person, schedule.\u00a0 We are anxious to see all of our A through L students back at school Tuesday morning after over a month of in-home instruction. We then look forward to seeing our M through Z students on Wednesday. <\/span>As a reminder, if your child is absent from school please use the\u00a0Attendance Excusal Submission\u00a0option found on our Northeast website to send your note via email.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Though this weekend\u2019s weather was not that frigid, we can expect to have cold weather for the next month or two. Please help us remind students to dress appropriately. Also remember to have an established plan in cases when the school is closing early. There are limited resources for supervision during these times, and no one wants to place individuals at risk because of a lack of planning.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On to school news: Believe it or not, but we are just over two weeks away from the start of the second semester! With that information, please know that we just began meeting with Liberty High School about the transition of our 8<\/span>th<\/span> grade students up to Liberty as the class of 2025! Eighth grade parents, please mark the date of Wednesday, January 20<\/span>th<\/span> as the first of several virtual parent orientation nights at Liberty. <\/span>Please help us spread the word to all parents of current 8th graders in the district. The Zoom link will be posted on the Liberty website on January 19th. <\/span>A flyer will be sent out through Schoology to our 8<\/span>th<\/span> graders, and we are sure Liberty will be sending out their own Parent-Link with more information. With this in mind, we continue to stress with all of our children the importance of paying attention to their schoolwork. Before they know it time will pass, and they will all be having to decide what they are going to do after graduation and whether they are going to apply to college or another type of post- secondary school. It is hard to believe how fast the time does go by.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week we also begin the sign-up process for our 2<\/span>nd<\/span> set of after school clubs, activities and winter sports teams. Please ask your children if they have signed up to be in our after school clubs, and remind them to communicate with you the days they will be staying after the normal dismissal time. With so many activities, we really need to make sure our students take responsibility to communicate their whereabouts so that everyone is on the same page. Should you have any questions regarding any of these after school activities, please reach out to Mrs. Bush, our Community School Coordinator, at 610-868-8581, extension 42902. Esta semana tambi\u00e9n comenzamos el proceso de inscripci\u00f3n para nuestro segundo grupo de clubes, actividades y equipos de deportes de invierno despu\u00e9s de la escuela. Preg\u00fanteles a sus hijos si se han inscrito para estar en nuestros clubes y recu\u00e9rdeles que se comuniquen con usted los d\u00edas que se quedar\u00e1n despu\u00e9s de la hora normal de salida. Con tantas actividades, realmente necesitamos asegurarnos de que nuestros estudiantes asuman la responsabilidad de comunicar su paradero para que todos est\u00e9n en la misma p\u00e1gina.
