Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends.\u00a0 Here is our \u201cShout Out\u201d for the first week of February. It is hard to believe that we are into February already. Tomorrow begins the official start of the third quarter and our second semester of school. It took some time for us to get a handle on the type of schooling we are forced to endure this year, but overall, most of the children have adjusted. We are hopeful the second semester will give us great success in what we attempt with our children.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now that we are into February the schedule begins to pick up, especially for our 8<\/span>th<\/span> grade students. This week our 8<\/span>th<\/span> grade teams will be visited by their high school guidance counselors on Tuesday and Wednesday. These in-person visits are designed to allow our children to begin to form personal relationships with some of the adults they will have contact with over the next four years of their lives. We wish them the best as they complete their course selection process.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Keep in mind that if we have inclement weather and we move to a short term remote learning day that students must complete their assignments online. Please continue to check Schoology.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the gym this week, we continue to practice for our upcoming season with both our boys and girls basketball teams. The children will begin intra-district play beginning next week against our other Bethlehem middle schools. Have a great remainder to your Sunday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familia y Amigos de Northeast. Aqu\u00ed est\u00e1 nuestro \u201cShout Out\u201d de la primera semana de febrero. Es dif\u00edcil creer que ya estamos en febrero. Ma\u00f1ana comienza el inicio oficial del tercer trimestre y nuestro segundo semestre de clases. Nos tom\u00f3 tiempo para entender el tipo de educaci\u00f3n que nos vemos obligados a soportar este a\u00f1o, pero en general, la mayor\u00eda de los estudiantes se han adaptado. Esperamos que el segundo semestre nos d\u00e9 un gran \u00e9xito en lo que intentamos con nuestros estudiantes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ahora que estamos en febrero, el horario comienza a mejorar, especialmente para nuestros estudiantes de octavo grado. Esta semana nuestros equipos de octavo grado recibir\u00e1n la visita de los consejeros de orientaci\u00f3n de la escuela secundaria el martes y mi\u00e9rcoles. Estas visitas en persona est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas para permitir que nuestros estudiantes comiencen a formar relaciones personales con algunos de los adultos con los que tendr\u00e1n contacto durante los pr\u00f3ximos cuatro a\u00f1os de sus vidas. Les deseamos lo mejor mientras completan su proceso de selecci\u00f3n de cursos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recuerde que si tenemos un clima inclemente y pasamos a un d\u00eda de aprendizaje remoto, los estudiantes deben completar sus tareas en l\u00ednea. Contin\u00fae revisando Schoology.<\/span><\/p>\n

En el gimnasio esta semana, continuamos practicando para nuestra pr\u00f3xima temporada con nuestros equipos de baloncesto de ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as. Comenzaremos a jugar dentro del distrito a partir de la pr\u00f3xima semana contra nuestras otras escuelas intermedias de Bethlehem.
