Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for this week starting with President\u2019s Day. We begin this week in school by congratulating our second quarter honor roll students. Obtaining honor roll and high honor roll during this hybrid learning environment takes a tremendous amount of perseverance, commitment and self-discipline. All those who did achieve honor roll should feel extremely P.R.O.U.D. Speaking of being P.R.O.U.D., we will be hosting our first P.R.O.U.D. Society event on Thursday and Friday. We are unable to take any trips, but we do plan on treating those deserved students to socially distanced sundae treats.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, please join our virtual Northeast Parent\/Teacher Organization meeting at 6:00 p.m. <\/span>The zoom link for this meeting will be on our website. <\/span>The Band Parent Organization meeting immediately follows NEPTO, so be on the lookout for their zoom link as well. Finally, on Friday. our M-to-Z 8<\/span>th<\/span> grade students finish their freshman course selection process when the Liberty counselors come to visit. The administration from Liberty will be visiting our March NEPTO meeting.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week starts our abbreviated basketball season. Our boys play at home versus East Hills on Wednesday and then our girls are at home versus East Hills on Thursday. We wish our student athletes the best as they embark on this very shortened season.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Have a most relaxing remainder to your holiday weekend. We look forward to seeing children back at school on Tuesday barring any other weather events, and we remind our eClassroom students to stay on top of their lessons and email their teachers should they have any questions or concerns.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familia y Amigos de Northeast. Comenzamos esta semana en la escuela felicitando a nuestros estudiantes del cuadro de honor del segundo trimestre. Obtener el cuadro de honor y un cuadro de honor alto durante el aprendizaje h\u00edbrido requiere una enorme cantidad de perseverancia, compromiso y autodisciplina. Todos aquellos que lograron el cuadro de honor deber\u00edan sentirse extremadamente orgulloso.
