Good afternoon Northeast Family and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for this week that ends the month of February. It is hard to believe that March is just around the corner! As February leaves so may the snow! One special event we are looking forward to this week is our \u201cAll City\u201d Orchestra Performance. The District will be recording these young musicians tomorrow and playing the concert for all to enjoy Thursday evening on the BASD YouTube channel. We are so proud of these very talented musicians.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Believe it or not, but we are almost halfway through our 3<\/span>rd<\/span> quarter of school. We know that is hard to believe especially after just receiving report cards, but it is a fact. Please note that our teachers work hard to keep their grades and their assignments updated in Schoology, and this makes it much easier for all of us to be on the same page. Once again if you need assistance looking at our child\u2019s grades, <\/span>please call the main office at 610-868-8581 and ask for Mrs. Rodriquez. Please do not wait until the third quarter is complete, because once we move through March and enter into April and the PSSA testing season our school year seems like it is almost over. <\/span>For those parents wishing to set up a conference to talk directly to teachers about their child\u2019s grades please know that you may call your child\u2019s team leader at any time to schedule a conference. We remind you that those conferences must occur during the day and will probably be done virtually to keep all individuals healthy.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Onto sports this week, on the hardwood we play Broughal. On Wednesday our girls play here at home and then on Thursday our boys are at home against the Rockets. We wish our student athletes the best as they compete.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familia y Amigos de Northeast. \u00a1Es dif\u00edcil creer que marzo est\u00e1 tan cerca! \u00a1Ojala que cuando termine febrero, la nieve tambien! Un evento especial que esperamos esta semana es nuestro concierto de orquesta “Toda la ciudad”. El Distrito grabar\u00e1 a estos j\u00f3venes m\u00fasicos ma\u00f1ana y tocar\u00e1 el concierto para que todos disfruten el jueves por la noche en el canal de YouTube del distrito. Estamos muy orgullosos de estos talentosos m\u00fasicos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lo crea o no, pero estamos casi a la mitad de nuestro tercer trimestre de escuela. Sabemos que es dif\u00edcil de creer, especialmente despu\u00e9s de recibir los informes de calificaciones, pero es cierto. Tenga en cuenta que nuestros maestros trabajan duro para mantener sus calificaciones y sus asignaciones actualizadas en Schoology, y esto hace que sea mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil para todos estar en la misma p\u00e1gina. Si necesita ayuda para ver las calificaciones de su hijo, llame a la oficina principal al 610-868-8581 y pregunte por la Sra. Rodr\u00edguez. Le recordamos que esas conferencias deben ocurrir durante el d\u00eda y probablemente se realizar\u00e1n virtualmente para mantener saludables a todas las personas.<\/span><\/p>\n

En deportes esta semana, jugamos Broughal. El mi\u00e9rcoles nuestras ni\u00f1as juegan en Northeast y luego el jueves los ni\u00f1os contra los Rockets. Le deseamos lo mejor a nuestros estudiantes atletas mientras compiten.<\/span><\/p>\n
