Good afternoon Northeast Families and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for this first full week of March. First off let us give a big sigh of relief that February is in our back mirror after today, and we hope that March is much kinder to us than February with respect to the weather. If it is not, at least we have our remote learning tools to fall back on, though nothing replaces in-person instruction. On the academic side, please make a note to check into Schoology for the progress of your children now that we are at the midpoint of the third quarter. The easiest way to retrieve this information is to have your child pull up all of their courses on their Chromebook. If you need additional assistance looking at your child\u2019s grades, <\/span>please call the main office at 610-868-8581 and ask for Mrs. Rodriquez.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week we find ourselves in our last week of our abbreviated basketball season. We play Nitschmann this week with our girls playing at home on Wednesday and our boys playing here at Northeast on Thursday. We hope to have a virtual \u201cPep Rally\u201d accompany these last games to recognize all of our student athletes from this past fall as well as this winter. Next week we start our first official tryouts and practices for our spring sports. We congratulate all the students trying out and playing for our teams. We will encourage them whether they win or lose and never stop trying.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, the end of our week is a busy one for our musicians, as we will look to see our young musicians who have finally been able to participate with their colleagues from across the district in our All City Middle School Orchestra. Look to see this performance on our district\u2019s YouTube channel on Thursday night. Have a great remainder to this last day of February!<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familias y Amigos de Northeast. En primer lugar, estemos aliviados de que hoy es el \u00faltimo d\u00eda de febrero, y esperamos que el clima de marzo sea mucho m\u00e1s mejor. Si no, al menos tenemos el aprendizaje remoto, aunque nada reemplaza la instrucci\u00f3n en persona. En el aspecto acad\u00e9mico, tome nota para verificar en Schoology el progreso de sus hijos ahora que estamos en la mitad del tercer trimestre. La forma m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de recuperar esta informaci\u00f3n es hacer que su hijo muestre todos sus cursos en su Chromebook. Esta semana nos encontramos en la \u00faltima semana de nuestra temporada de baloncesto abreviada. Jugamos Nitschmann esta semana con nuestras ni\u00f1as jugando en Northeast el mi\u00e9rcoles y nuestros ni\u00f1os jugando el jueves. Esperamos tener un \u201cPep Rally\u201d virtual que acompa\u00f1e a estos \u00faltimos juegos para reconocer a todos nuestros estudiantes atletas de este oto\u00f1o pasado y de este invierno. La semana que viene comenzamos nuestras primeras pruebas y pr\u00e1cticas oficiales para nuestros deportes de primavera. Felicitamos a todos los estudiantes que prueban y juegan para nuestros equipos. Los apoyaremos ya sea que ganen o pierdan y nunca dejen de intentarlo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finalmente, el final de nuestra semana es muy ocupado para nuestros m\u00fasicos, ya que veremos a nuestros j\u00f3venes m\u00fasicos que finalmente han podido participar con sus colegas de todo el distrito en nuestra orquesta de la escuela secundaria All City.
