Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for the week of March 7<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. This week is a quiet week here at school as we prepare to send out our Mid-Quarter Progress Reports on Wednesday. It is important that as we move into Spring, we keep our children focused on the school work they must complete both in school as well as on their \u201cremote\u201d learning days. At times students let their work pile up and then before you know, they give up. Do not let this happen to your child. If you feel that this is the case for your child or children, please reach out to your child\u2019s guidance counselor.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In sports this week, we have finished our abbreviated basketball season, and now it is time for our softball and soccer teams to begin the arduous task of constructing line-ups from their open gyms and tryouts. This is always an extremely difficult task, because we truly want all children to enjoy being involved in whatever they choose. This year it will be even more difficult, as it seems as though we will need to wait at least a few more weeks before these two outdoor sports can move outdoors! We do commend all of the students that are trying out and wish our student athletes the best whether it be on the field or in the classroom.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Have a great remainder to your weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Buenas tardes Familias y Amigos de Northeast. Esta semana es una semana tranquila mientras nos preparamos para enviar nuestros informes de progreso de mitad de trimestre el mi\u00e9rcoles. Es importante que a medida que avanzamos hacia la primavera, mantengamos a nuestros hijos enfocados en el trabajo escolar que deben completar tanto en la escuela como en sus d\u00edas de aprendizaje \u201cremoto\u201d. A veces, los estudiantes dejan que su trabajo se acumule y luego, antes de que te des cuenta, se dan por vencidos. No permita que esto le suceda a su hijo. Si cree que este es el caso de su hijo o hijos, comun\u00edquese con el consejero escolar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En deportes esta semana, hemos terminado nuestra temporada de baloncesto abreviada, y ahora es el momento de que nuestros equipos de softbol y f\u00fatbol comiencen pr\u00e1cticas y pruebas. Esto siempre es dif\u00edcil, porque realmente queremos que todos los ni\u00f1os disfruten de participar en lo que elijan. Este a\u00f1o ser\u00e1 a\u00fan m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil, ya que parece que tendremos que esperar al menos unas semanas m\u00e1s antes de que estos dos deportes puedan empezar afuera.
