Good afternoon Northeast Families and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for the week of March 14th. This week our soon to be Liberty Freshman parents are invited to our Virtual NEPTO meeting on Wednesday to meet with the administration from Liberty. The meeting link can be accessed from our school\u2019s homepage, or you may get it directly by emailing our NEPTO President Tina Piscitello at <\/span>tlp3672@gmail.com<\/span><\/a>.<\/span> In three short months our 8<\/span>th<\/span> grade students will officially be Liberty 9<\/span>th<\/span> graders, wow! <\/span>The Band and Orchestra Parent Organization meeting immediately follows NEPTO, so be on the lookout for their zoom link as well. Our visits to our incoming 6<\/span>th<\/span> grade students will be done live by us visiting the schools beginning next week, the week of March 22<\/span>nd<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the classroom this week we are keeping our focus on our classwork, for we only have three weeks left in the quarter. This past week we saw our children receive their Interim Progress Reports for this quarter and though many of our children have been doing a nice job of juggling the challenges of this hybrid instruction, we can still all do better. For planning purposes please note that the 3<\/span>rd<\/span> Quarter Student Led Conferences originally scheduled for March 30th will not be taking place, as that day has been changed to a full school day.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, on the fields this week we continue our Spring practices in softball and soccer. \u00a0 Thank goodness most of the snow has melted, so the students can get out. It will be so nice to see children outside in the fresh air as long as the weather continues to cooperate!\u00a0 Have a great remainder to your Sunday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familias y Amigos de Northeast. Esta semana, nuestros padres de estudiantes de octavo grado que asistir\u00e1n a Liberty el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o escolar ser\u00e1n invitados a nuestra reuni\u00f3n virtual de la Organizaci\u00f3n de Padres y Maestros el mi\u00e9rcoles para reunirse con la administraci\u00f3n de Liberty. Se puede acceder al enlace de la reuni\u00f3n desde la p\u00e1gina de inicio de nuestra escuela, o puede obtenerlo directamente enviando un correo electr\u00f3nico a nuestra presidenta de la Organizaci\u00f3n de Padres y Maestros, Tina Piscitello, a tlp3672@gmail.com. Nuestras visitas a nuestros estudiantes entrantes de sexto grado se realizar\u00e1n en vivo visitando las escuelas a partir de la pr\u00f3xima semana, la semana del 22 de marzo.<\/span><\/p>\n

En el sal\u00f3n de clases esta semana mantenemos nuestro enfoque en nuestro trabajo de clase, ya que solo nos quedan tres semanas en el trimestre. La semana pasada vimos a nuestros estudiantes recibir sus informes de progreso provisionales para este trimestre y, aunque muchos de nuestros estudiantes han estado haciendo un buen trabajo al enfrentar los desaf\u00edos de esta instrucci\u00f3n h\u00edbrida, todos podemos hacerlo mejor. Para fines de planificaci\u00f3n, tenga en cuenta que las conferencias dirigidas por estudiantes del tercer trimestre originalmente programadas para el 30 de marzo no se llevar\u00e1n a cabo, ya que ese d\u00eda se ha cambiado a un d\u00eda escolar completo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finalmente, en los deportes esta semana continuamos nuestras pr\u00e1cticas de primavera en softbol y f\u00fatbol. Gracias a Dios, la mayor parte de la nieve se ha derretido y los estudiantes pueden salir afuera. \u00a1Ser\u00e1 tan agradable ver a los estudiantes afuera mientras el clima contin\u00fae cooperando!
