Good afternoon Northeast Families and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for this first school week of April following our Spring break. We remind everyone that students return to in-person hybrid instruction on Tuesday, April 6<\/span>th<\/span>. Lessons will not be pushed out virtually tomorrow, as Monday is still noted as a holiday. Eclassroom students should look to follow up on their lessons first thing Tuesday morning. Believe it or not, but the end of the third quarter is this coming Friday, the 9<\/span>th<\/span>. Now that we are entering our last quarter it is time that we really step it up with our lessons and end this school year on a high note.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week is the premier of our <\/span>What\u2019s So Cool About Manufacturing<\/span><\/i> video contest which our 8<\/span>th<\/span> grade seminar students have completed. We hope everyone can view the tremendous video created about our partner, <\/span>Kitchen Magic<\/b>, and help us by voting for our video in the Viewer\u2019s Choice Award. <\/span>We greatly appreciate your help in getting the word out about voting. Voting begins on <\/span>April 7th<\/b> at midnight and runs until <\/span>April 9th<\/b> at midnight. You can vote as many times as you want, just refresh the page and vote again. The videos will pop up in a different location on the page each time you refresh. Let\u2019s help Northeast bring home the Viewer\u2019s Choice Award for our video about <\/span>Kitchen Magic<\/b>. The link for voting can be found on our school website.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week we continue to get out to visit our elementary students coming to us next year with visits to Freemansburg. Seeing the excitement that our incoming 6<\/span>th<\/span> graders show during our visits truly is uplifting and somewhat makes us forget we are still in a pandemic.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, in sports our Spring athletic teams begin their games. Starting on Tuesday our soccer team plays Broughal here at home. Then on Wednesday our soccer team travels to Nazareth. Finally on Friday, our soccer team plays here at home against East Hills and our softball team travels to Nazareth. It is a busy start to the season, but it certainly will be nice to have a full schedule of games again.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We hope everyone has enjoyed their Spring break thus far, and hope we all have a pleasant remainder to our break before we all return to school on Tuesday!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familias y Amigos de Northeast. Les recordamos a todos que los estudiantes regresan a la instrucci\u00f3n h\u00edbrida el martes 6 de abril. No habr\u00e1 lecciones ma\u00f1ana ya que todav\u00eda se considera d\u00eda feriado. Los estudiantes de E-Classroom deben buscar sus lecciones a primera hora el martes por la ma\u00f1ana. Lo crea o no, pero el final del tercer trimestre es el pr\u00f3ximo viernes. Ahora que estamos entrando en el \u00faltimo trimestre, anime a sus hijos a trabajar duro para que puedan terminar con \u00e9xito.<\/span><\/p>\n

Esta semana es el estreno de nuestro concurso What’s So Cool About Manufacturing que nuestros estudiantes de seminario de octavo grado han completado. Esperamos que todos puedan ver el tremendo video creado sobre nuestro socio, Kitchen Magic.\u00a0 Ay\u00fadanos a votar por nuestro video en el premio Viewer’s Choice Award.
