We are home playing against The Rockets of Broughal Middle School. Please come and support the soccer team after school at 4pm. If you do come and support the soccer team, please stay along the Tree Line along the Sidewalk on Fernwood Street. No families or students are allowed on the bleachers or on the grass near the soccer field. Go Hornets!<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT\u2019S SO COOL ABOUT MANUFACTURING:<\/strong> Don\u2019t forget that voting for the <em>What\u2019s So Cool About Manufacturing<\/em> video contest begins tomorrow. Please go to<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/www.whatssocool.org\/contests\/lehigh-valley\/ and vote for Northeast\u2019s video about Kitchen Magic. You can vote as many times as you want, just refresh the page and vote again. Voting ends on Friday at midnight. Let\u2019s help Northeast bring home the Viewer\u2019s Choice Award!<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>DISC GOLF CLUB:<\/strong> Disc golf club will start on March 25th next week and run through May 6th. Please see Mr. Wynn in A103 in the 7th grade hallway with any questions and for a permission slip.<\/li>\n<li><b>HOMEWORK CLUB<\/b>: 8th grade homework club will be meeting in room B305 from 3:05 to 4:05pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Catch up on \u00a0missing assignments and get help with your work. If you have any quests please see \u00a0Mrs. Papagni in room B305. 7th graders, Miss Rinaldi will not be running homework club this week. 6th grade homework club meets Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school from 3:05- 4:15pm with Miss Capuano in room A202.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><b>THOUGHT OF THE DAY<\/b>: What do you think a resource is? Money? Real estate? Gold? American author Peter F. Drucker doesn&#8217;t believe that all resources are material things. Listen to what he says to us today: <em>The individual is the most precious capital resource of our society. <\/em>In other words , each individual human being is more valuable or more precious than anything else in the world. That&#8217;s an interesting thing to think about. If Mr. Drunker is right, that means that you , as an individual are more valuable than anything money can buy. Don&#8217;t ever believe that you are worthless. You are an important and unique part of our society, and if you choose to do your best, you can contribute more than your weight in gold.<\/p>\n<p><b>LUNCH:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Do you bring your lunch from home? If you do, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">you can add a fruit, veggie and milk for free!!!<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That&#8217;s right! You can jazz up your lunch in the<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">cafeteria with a fruit, veggie and milk for free <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">if you bring your lunch from home. Bon<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">appetit!!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SAFE:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It&#8217;s SAFE to Tell. The SAFE Team exists <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to help students with problems in a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">confidential manner to help remove any and all <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">barriers to education. You can refer <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">your friends or yourself. It&#8217;s now safer and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">easier to tell: just fill out the SAFE to Tell <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">form which you can find ONLINE in your <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">guidance counselor&#8217;s resources folder. Don&#8217;t<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">worry, &#8220;It&#8217;s Safe To Tell.&#8221; Thanks for being<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">AWESOME!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>D<\/b><b>ISMISSAL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students please note that you are not<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">permitted to remain in the building after <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">dismissal unless you are involved in an activity. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you are waiting for a friend please<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wait outside the building.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WATER FOUNTAINS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Water fountains are only to be used to fill up <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">water bottles and not to be used for getting <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">drinks.
