Good afternoon Northeast Families and Friends. Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for this first full week of May!! As we start this month of May w,e are looking forward to the summer plans we are going to be offering our students. Please look for the flyers that have gone out and if you should have any questions, please reach out to your child\u2019s guidance counselor or to our Community School Coordinator, Kim Bush. We are looking to have children reconnect with school with a variety of offerings throughout the entire month of July. All of the programs are being designed to get students back to having fun in and around school. Please do not let these opportunities pass your children by.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week we also celebrate Teacher Appreciation, and we wish to thank our teachers for their dedication and commitment to our students and to our families. We also thank our Northeast Parent\/Teacher Organization for spoiling our teachers during this week dedicated to them.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally in sports this week we end out our soccer season with two games. On Monday our soccer team plays Whitehall here for their final home game and then on Wednesday the children end their season with a game at Nitschmann. In softball our girls have three games scheduled, two games at home and one game away. Our home games are Monday and Friday. On Monday the girls play against Nazareth and on Friday the team plays Northampton. On Wednesday the girls travel to East Hills. We wish our student athletes the best on the field and in the classroom.<\/span><\/p>\n

Buenas tardes Familias y Amigos de Northeast.\u00a0 Al comenzar este mes de mayo, esperamos con ansias los planes de verano que les vamos a ofrecer a nuestros estudiantes. Busque los folletos que se han enviado y, si tiene alguna pregunta, comun\u00edquese con el consejero escolar de su hijo o con nuestra coordinadora de escuelas comunitarias, Kim Bush. Buscamos que los estudiantes se vuelvan a conectar a la escuela con una variedad de ofertas durante todo el mes de julio. Finalmente, en deportes esta semana terminamos nuestra temporada de f\u00fatbol con dos juegos. Para su \u00faltimo juego en casa, el equipo juega contra Whitehall el lunes y el mi\u00e9rcoles juegan en Nitschmann. En softbol, \u200b\u200bnuestras ni\u00f1as juegan en Northeast el lunes y el viernes. El lunes juegan contra Nazareth y el viernes contra Northampton. El mi\u00e9rcoles, las ni\u00f1as viajan a East Hills.
