Here is our Northeast \u201cShout Out\u201d for this last full week of May. First let us remind everyone that we have scheduled our state testing for this week and next. This week children will be tested on the English\/Language Arts portion. For those families that chose to not have their children test, we remind you that teachers will be pushing out asynchronous lessons for the two weeks, and there will be no in-person instruction for children who have opted out of testing. Clearly this is not the manner in which we wish to be ending the school year, however, we do not make the rules regarding testing. Families that have opted out of testing may still receive breakfasts and lunches on Monday here at school. Pick up is between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. All students that are testing will receive both breakfast and lunch on their scheduled days of testing.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Finally, remember we are looking forward to the summer plans we are offering our students. Please look online for the summer experiences being afforded to children. Should you have any questions, please reach out to your child\u2019s guidance counselor or to our Community School Coordinator, Kim Bush.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Have a great remainder to your Sunday.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Buenas tardes Familias y Amigos de Northeast. Primero, recordemos a todos que hemos programado nuestras pruebas estatales para esta semana y la pr\u00f3xima. Esta semana, los ni\u00f1os ser\u00e1n evaluados en la secci\u00f3n de ingl\u00e9s \/ artes del lenguaje. Para aquellas familias que optaron que sus hijos no tomaran el examen, les recordamos que los maestros enviar\u00e1n lecciones asincr\u00f3nicas durante las dos semanas y no habr\u00e1 instrucci\u00f3n en persona. Claramente, esta no es la manera en la que deseamos terminar el a\u00f1o escolar, sin embargo, no establecemos las reglas con respecto a las pruebas. Las familias que han optado por no participar en las pruebas a\u00fan pueden recibir desayunos y almuerzos los lunes aqu\u00ed en la escuela.
