That&#8217;s right, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Northeast wants you to get OFF your devices <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and come to the Hornet Explorers Summer <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Camp! Camp will be held right here at <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Northeast for two sessions in July. See Mrs. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bush&#8217;s Schoology page for more information<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and the link to sign up. Space is limited, so<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">don&#8217;t wait!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>NORTHEAST MAJORETTES: <\/strong>Attention 6th and 7th graders interested in being a Northeast majorette. On May 24 and 25 from 6:00 to 8:00pm there will be a practice in the gym in preparation for tryouts. Tryouts will be on May 26 from 6:00 to 8:00pm in the main gym. Please contact Mrs. Ruhf at jaruhf@basdschools.org and Miss. Garza at lgarza@basdschools.org if you are interested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ATHLETICS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>FIELD HOCKEY:<\/strong> Any girls interested in playing field hockey next year, please see Miss Rinaldi in A112 for an informational sheet.<\/li>\n<li><strong>LHS CHEERLEADING: <\/strong>If you are interested in cheerleading at Liberty High School, please stop by the main office to pick up an informational packet on tryouts. Any questions you can stop by Mr. Korcienski&#8217;s room.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><b>THOUGHT OF THE DAY<\/b>: Have you ever been jealous of someone because he or she has been successful at something? Have you ever said \u201cShe just got lucky\u201d? Listen to what famous football coach Darrell Royal says about luck: <em>Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. <\/em>Lucille Ball, famous American comedienne, says it another way: <em>Luck to me is hard work. <\/em>So what\u2019s the moral of the story? If you want to be lucky in life, you need to get prepared for what it is you want. So study hard. Get a good education and be prepared. You\u2019ll be ready to meet Lady Luck when she knocks on your door.<\/p>\n<p><b>LUNCH:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Do you bring your lunch from home? If you do, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">you can add a fruit, veggie and milk for free!!!<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That&#8217;s right! You can jazz up your lunch in the<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">cafeteria with a fruit, veggie and milk for free <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">if you bring your lunch from home. Bon<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">appetit!!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>SAFE:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It&#8217;s SAFE to Tell. The SAFE Team exists <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to help students with problems in a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">confidential manner to help remove any and all <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">barriers to education. You can refer <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">your friends or yourself. It&#8217;s now safer and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">easier to tell: just fill out the SAFE to Tell <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">form which you can find ONLINE in your <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">guidance counselor&#8217;s resources folder. Don&#8217;t<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">worry, &#8220;It&#8217;s Safe To Tell.&#8221; Thanks for being<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">AWESOME!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>D<\/b><b>ISMISSAL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students please note that you are not<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">permitted to remain in the building after <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">dismissal unless you are involved in an activity. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you are waiting for a friend please<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wait outside the building.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WATER FOUNTAINS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Water fountains are only to be used to fill up <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">water bottles and not to be used for getting <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">drinks.
