Good afternoon Hornet Nation.\u00a0 This is the Shout Out for Sunday, November 7.<\/p>\n

In school this week, teachers are in the process of finalizing first quarter grades as the quarter officially closed this past Wednesday. Report cards will be mailed home the week of November 15th<\/sup>. Parent Teacher conferences will be held November 22nd\u00a0<\/sup>in the afternoon and November 23rd<\/sup> in the evening. Please be on the lookout for information from your child\u2019s team to schedule your conference. Reminder, you can monitor your child\u2019s progress in school anytime by logging into Schoology. If you need assistance with Schoology, please contact the office or your child\u2019s guidance counselor for assistance.<\/p>\n

There was a big increase in the number of lates<\/em> to school last week. It is important for students to be on time and ready to learn.\u00a0 Homeroom starts at 8:13am. Once your child reaches six lates<\/em>, detentions are assigned. Please make sure your child makes it to school on time.<\/p>\n

Temperatures are dropping and it\u2019s starting to get cold. Please remind students to check the weather and dress appropriately for their commute to and from school. If your child is in need of a winter coat, please have them stop by room A312 and see Mrs. Derrington.<\/p>\n

The Student Leadership Thanksgiving food drive is in full swing! Each homeroom has a box and a list of food items we are collecting. Our goal is to get 30 complete Thanksgiving meals to deliver right back to our families here at Northeast! Donations will be accepted through Tuesday, November 16th<\/sup>. Grocery gift cards are also accepted as donations. Thank for your support.<\/p>\n
