Exchange your hornet fives for proud pounds, keep an eye out for those Marking Period 2 report card proud pounds and ask your homeroom teacher where to find the Proud Society application. Fill it out as soon as possible in order to be eligible for our next event and receive your free Proud Society T-shirt.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>SPRING SPORTS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention! Attention! All 7th and 8th <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grade students who plan to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">participate in Softball or Soccer this<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Spring! You will need to get a physical<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">or revaluation form filled out and<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">turned into our Athletic Trainer. Those <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">who need a physical &#8211; St. Lukes is<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">offering free physicals at Liberty and<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Freedom. Please use the SignUp Genius<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Link in your Schoology Message to sign<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">up. Liberty will hold the physicals on<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wednesday, Feburary 16 in their upstairs<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aux Gym. Freedom will hold their <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">physicals on Tuesday, February 22, in<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">their Aux Gym as well. Times for both <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">dates are from 5:00-8:00 pm. There <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">will be no walk-ins accepted! So please <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">use the link in Schoology to sign<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">up. Physical packets and revaluation<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">forms can be picked up in the Main<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Office or Student Services. Come and see step teams and dance teams from other schools! Tickets are $5. You can buy tickets starting next\u00a0 week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BAND &amp; ORCHESTRA<\/strong>: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention all musician students, please remember at the end of the day to pick your instrument up from the band room to take home and practice.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>CHESS CLUB: <\/strong>Chess club meets this week on Thursday after school in A103.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>DANCE &amp; STEP TEAMS: <\/strong>We have practice today after school and Wednesday after school. Let&#8217;s get ready for the stomp show next week!<\/li>\n<li><strong>HOMEWORK CLUBS: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you are in 7th or 8th grade and need help with your assignments, join Homework Clubs on Tuesdays and Thursdays! 8th grade meets in Mrs. Papagni&#8217;s room in B305 and 7th graders meet in Ms. Rinaldi\u2019s room A112. You get a snack and milk, too!<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>READING OLYMPICS: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Reading Olympics meets today during hornet block.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>SISTER ACT, JR: <\/strong>Thank you to our cast and crew who\u00a0attended rehearsal on Saturday! This \u00a0week will be an all cast vocal rehearsal on Tuesday, January 25th from 3:15-4:30 in the chorus room. Wednesday\u2019s rehearsal will be from \u00a03:15-5:00. We will be rehearsing \u00a0Scene 12. This rehearsal is for Mother \u00a0Superior, Deloris, Mary Patrick, Mary \u00a0Robert, Mary Lazarus, Mary Martin of-Tours, Mary Celeste, Mary Irene, \u00a0Mary Stephen, Mary Theresa, Nuns 1- 3, Tina, Nina, Michelle, Elle, Nun Group \u00a0A, and Newscaster. Saturday, January 29th\u2019s rehearsal \u00a0will be as follows: 9-10 AM is for Scene 13, pages 108- 116.
