We will have a meet and greet breakfast in the cafeteria and then move into the auditorium for a video game tournament and board games. So, keep an eye out for those Marking Period 2 report card proud pounds and ask your homeroom teacher where to find the Proud Society application. Fill it out as soon as possible in order to be eligible for our next event and receive your free Proud Society T-shirt. Remember it\u2019s 7 proud pounds to get in, 1 proud pound for 6th grade is 20 hornet fives, 7th grade is 15 &amp; 8th grade is 10. See your homeroom teacher with any questions!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>SPRING SPORTS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention! Attention! All 7th and 8th <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grade students who plan to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">participate in Softball or Soccer this<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Spring! You will need to get a physical<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">or revaluation form filled out and<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">turned into our Athletic Trainer. Those <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">who need a physical &#8211; St. Lukes is<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">offering free physicals at Liberty and<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Freedom. Please use the SignUp Genius<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Link in your Schoology Message to sign<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">up. Liberty will hold the physicals on<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wednesday, Feburary 16 in their upstairs<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aux Gym. Freedom will hold their <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">physicals on Tuesday, February 22, in<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">their Aux Gym as well. Times for both <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">dates are from 5:00-8:00 pm. There <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">will be no walk-ins accepted! So please <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">use the link in Schoology to sign<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">up. Thank you for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">your patience and flexibility as we <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wind up with the musical.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>BAND &amp; ORCHESTRA<\/strong>: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention all musician students, please remember at the end of the day to pick your instrument up from the band room to take home and practice.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>CHORUS:<\/strong> Chorus members who are singing in the Together We Sing workshop &#8211; please get your permission slips ASAP. If you need one, please get to Mrs.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Parker\u2026thank you for sharing your <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">talent!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>HOMEWORK CLUBS: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you are in 7th or 8th grade and need help with your<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> assignments, join Homework Clubs on Tuesdays and Thursdays! 8th grade meets in Mrs. Papagni&#8217;s room in B305 and 7th graders meet in Ms. Rinaldi\u2019s room A112. You get a snack and milk, too!<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>MARCH MATHNESS: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">7th graders -need help with math? Join March Mathness and get free math tutoring every Monday after school in March! Interested? See Mrs. McCandless in Room A109 for a permission slip.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>SISTER ACT, JR: <\/strong>TECH WEEK for Sister Act Jr. IS HERE!!! Tech Week rehearsals for the upcoming week are:Monday, Feb 14th from 3:15-5:30;Tuesday, Feb 15th from 3:15-5:30;Wednesday, Feb 16th from 3:15-5:30; No rehearsal on Thursday, February 17th &#8211; rest and be well!; Rehearsal and Pictures with Christmas\u00a0City Studios on Friday, February 18thfrom 3:00-6:00 (please note the time); Saturday, Feb 19th from 9am-2pm. Leading scorer and MVP Adelyn Smith led the way with 17 points followed by Delaney Foster and Kayla Cummings who both had 10 points. Chloe Rumelhart and Tiara Wiley played a solid game scoring 4 points each. Congratulations on a great season! GO HORNETS!!!<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>LHS BASEBALL:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attention 8th grade boys interested <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in trying out for the Liberty Freshman <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Baseball team.
