This organization has directly helped members of our school community. Please see the <a href=\"http:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/northeast\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/Pediatric_Cancer_Walk_April_2nd.pdf\">attached flyer.<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>PROUD SOCIETY: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Proud Society members, don\u2019t forget to keep earning those proud pounds because you can still use them to get cool rewards. When you have a total of 12 proud pounds you get a Northeast lanyard, and when you have 17 you receive a NE pin. Come down to the school store on Days 1 or 4 to get your lanyard or pin. At the end of the year the top 100 proud society members with the most proud pounds get to go to the special Proud Society Event. Thanks for making our school Northeast Proud!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>THANK YOU: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thank you to the students who watched Liberty Theater\u2019s performance of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Sound of Music<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. We hope you enjoyed it. It was great to think about the future and your potential part of contributing to their program in the years to come. Thank you again!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>VOTE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A group of our 8th grade students created a video advertising how Lutron Electronics can brighten your future. Our Northeast team needs YOUR help to win the\u00a0 Viewer\u2019s Choice Award. There are a few ways to vote. You can scan the QR code on one of the voting flyers\u00a0 posted around the building, you can go to the website <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">https:\/\/www.whatssocool.org\/contests<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\/lehigh-valley\/<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">or you can use the link on the\u00a0 Northeast website. Please take some time next week to vote for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Northeast\u2019s video about Lutron. Voting starts next Wednesday, March 23rd at midnight and runs until Friday, March 25th at midnight. You can vote as many times as you want, just refresh the page and vote again. Thank you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There is no rehearsal for Northeast Singers Tuesday. Teachers and students &#8211; please allow the students to contact their family about today\u2019s cancellation. Thank you for your flexibility &#8211; we will reschedule for next week.<\/span><\/strong>There is no rehearsal on Wednesday, \u00a0March 23rd due to the half day for students.\u00a0Any questions? Thank<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> you.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>HOMEWORK CLUB: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you are in 8th grade and need help with your<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> assignments, join Homework Clubs on Tuesdays and Thursdays! 8th grade meets in Mrs. Papagni&#8217;s room in B305. Miss Rinaldi&#8217;s 7th grade homework club has ended.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b>STEP &amp; DANCE TEAM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Practice after school today. See you\u00a0 soon! <\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>WEIGHTLIFTING CLUB:<\/strong> We will be starting a weightlifting Club in the weight room located next to the Ladies locker room. It will run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:15pm. The program will run for 4 weeks. The goal is to instruct students on the different exercises, proper form, and function associated with each muscle group. The club will go for 4 weeks. Please see Mr. Tom if interested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ATHLETICS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SOCCER: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All soccer players NEED to attend practice Thursday March 24th this\u00a0 week. You must be there to take the Concussion Test, receive your jersey, and check grades.
