ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS<\/b>:\u00a0<\/span>Students who remain after school for any after-school program including sports must report directly to your practice, club or rehearsal directly after school. You may not leave the building and then come back into school. You will not be permitted to come back in the school once you leave. Once your after-school program is over, you must leave the building. You may not go to your locker or anywhere else in the building, so please be sure you have everything you need to go home before reporting to your activity. No student is allowed to remain in the building unsupervised.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

AFTER SCHOOL VOCAL GROUPS & THE MUSICAL<\/b>:\u00a0<\/span>The rehearsal schedule for this week is as follows:\u00a0<\/span>Monday, January 29th – all after school vocal groups…NE Singers, Boys Group, and Girls Group – from 3:15-4:00; <\/span>Tuesday, January 30th – rehearsal from 3:15-4:30 for Mersisters, Scuttle and Gulls, all Chefs, Ursula, Flotsam, Jetsam, and the Tentacles. We’ll be working on cleaning up your songs.; <\/span>Wednesday, January January 31st: All leads from 3:15-4:30; <\/span>Thursday, February 1st: All cast from 3:15-4:30. <\/span>Good luck to our Dance and Step Team members as they perform Friday night! Saturday, February 3rd: All cast from 9:00-noon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP & DANCE TEAM:\u00a0<\/b>Step team practice on Tuesday. Dance team practice on Wednesday. Don’t forget, stop was this Friday, let’s get ready for it! Please remember to bring Mr Huie the money.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLD PERCUSSION<\/b>:\u00a0<\/span>There’s practice Thursday after school as well as practice during the school day has changed to day 2, not day 1.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SEMI FORMAL:\u00a0<\/b>The SRO Dance will be held Feb. 9th at Liberty High School from 5-8pm. Tickets are $10 and will go on sale this week! See Officer Hoyt for more information.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

STOMP SHOW<\/b>:\u00a0<\/span>The Stomp Show is next Friday! Tickets are on sale next Thursday and Friday! Don’t forget! $5 for northeast students. If you wait until the night of the show, the price is $10 at the door.\u00a0<\/span>Come and see the best dance and step teams in the Lehigh Valley! Schools from Bethlehem and Allentown will be performing!<\/span><\/p>\n

SOFTBALL<\/b>:\u00a0<\/span>Attention all 7th and 8th grade Girls! Do you like baseball? Have your ever played Softball? Well, they are very similar! Come out, and join the Softball team! If you have any questions, please see Coach Jewell or Coach Rinaldi!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SOCCER<\/b>:\u00a0<\/span>This year, there will be an official Girls Soccer Team and a Boys Soccer Team. If you are a 7th grade girl, and likes to Run and Kick, please bring a friend and try out! Tryouts will begin Monday March 4th. Please make sure you get a Re-Cert or Sports Physical signed by our parents. Any questions, please see Coach Spieker and Coach Katynski!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SPORTS PHYSICALS:\u00a0<\/b>All 7th and 8th graders who want to try out for Spring Soccer and Softball, please see the Offices, Miss Rinaldi, or Mr. Spieker for the sport physical packet. There will be FREE Sport Physicals on Feb. 15th or 20th, but you need your guardians to sign you up with the Sports Packet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NE CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Join us today for a FUN Family night, Northeast Cornhole tournament. Sign up with teams of two, or join us for an evening of fun and cheer teams on! As a community, we are raising funds and food for Northeast Community Center. Click, scan or go to the link provided on the flyer to register! It is $5 per team OR 5 canned food items. There will be\u00a0<\/span>raffles and prizes for best team name, best team uniform and winner of the tournament. See the attached picture for prizes!We will have activities along with the games, as well as hot dogs and soda for sale. ARTSMART<\/b>:\u00a0<\/span>Do you like art? How about Needle Felting? If so, listen up! ARTSMART is an after school program through Artsquest Banana Factory. Classes will begin NEXT WEEK! If you are interested, please see Mrs. Sukanick or Mrs. Dougherty to sign up or look for the flyers hung up around school. There are ten sessions on Mondays from 3:20p-4:20p. Students will complete 2-3 needle felting projects over the course of the ten weeks. We hope to see you there!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There are two night games on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8th! Our Lady Hornets play on LHS’s court at 6 PM, followed by our Gentlemen Hornets at 7 PM. Admission at Liberty HS is FREE for the Thursday night game…come and see the players, band, cheerleaders, and more! Have a GREAT WEEK!
