{"id":9156,"date":"2025-11-16T20:19:02","date_gmt":"2025-11-17T01:19:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/northeast\/?p=9156"},"modified":"2025-11-16T20:19:02","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T01:19:02","slug":"sunday-shout-out-november-16th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/northeast\/2025\/11\/16\/sunday-shout-out-november-16th\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunday Shout Out ~ November 16th"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fcbkbttn_buttons_block\" id=\"fcbkbttn_left\"><\/div><p>Hello Hornet Nation.<\/p>\n<p>Report cards for the first marking period are\u00a0<strong>ONLY\u00a0<\/strong>available online and were posted in ParentVue on Thursday, November 13.\u00a0 If you need assistance logging into ParentVue, please contact us.<\/p>\n<p>We have a \u201cGive &amp; Take Table\u201d where anyone can donate or pick up non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products.\u00a0 Please see the attached flier.<\/p>\n<p>Northeast is having a Thanksgiving food drive to make sure everyone has a meal this Thanksgiving.\u00a0 Please see the attached flier for a list of items being collected.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From Mrs. Sherman and Mrs. Minotti,\u00a0<\/strong><strong><em>Northeast\u2019s Reading Specialists<\/em><\/strong><strong>, and Mrs. Boyer,\u00a0<\/strong><strong><em>Northeast Librarian<\/em><\/strong><strong>:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We\u2019re excited to announce our \u201cBounce for Books\u201d reading incentive program\u2014where reading really takes kids to new heights!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s how it works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Students can pick up a Book Zone bookmark from Mrs. Boyer in the library.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>They must read five books and record the titles on the bookmark as they go.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Once finished, a parent or guardian signs the bookmark to confirm the reading.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Students then return the completed bookmark to Mrs. Boyer for verification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>After she signs off, the bookmark can be redeemed for 30 minutes of FREE jump time at Sky Zone\u2014either the Bethlehem or Easton location!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This program runs all year long, so students can participate at any time.
