The purpose of this grant program is to enhance student learning and student interest in learning by providing educators an opportunity to exercise their passion for teaching, develop their ideas, partner with colleagues and connect with the wealth of knowledge, expertise and talent within the district and the community.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/thefoundation\/service-learning-grants\/\"><strong>Service-learning Grants<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0are available to Bethlehem Area School District teachers to implement high-quality service-learning projects. Service-learning is a teaching strategy that connects classroom curriculum with service projects that engage students socially, civically and academically. A high-quality service-learning experience combines meaningful service with in-depth learning. Service-learning begins with classroom content and moves into the community through the planning and implementation of a service-project.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/thefoundation\/student-leadership-grants\/\"><strong>Student Leadership Grants<\/strong><\/a> are available to Bethlehem Area School District students who are active leaders for their school. Grant funding will be awarded to student leaders whose projects or programs support The Foundation\u2019s mission while supporting our organization\u2019s funding areas of focus: Mental Health, DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging), Nutritional Education, and Career Pathways.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/basdwpweb.beth.k12.pa.us\/thefoundation\/our-leaders-of-tomorrow\/\">Our Leaders of Tomorrow Grants<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>funds projects at all sixteen Bethlehem Area School District\u2019s elementary schools that enhance the school environment, stand to benefit as many children within the building as possible, and fall outside those items typically funded by the District.
