\"\"<\/a>The Peter J. Carril Memorial Scholarship Fund<\/h1>\n

In August of 2022, the sports world lost a favored son, a coaching legend, whose career accomplishments put him on the map as one of the greatest basketball minds ever.<\/p>\n

Pete\u00a0Carril, the famous basketball coach, was born and raised on the southside of Bethlehem, and played basketball at Liberty High School, graduating in 1948. He was a Bethlehem boy. And so it is fitting and with a full heart that we honor #17 here, with the Peter J. Carril Memorial Scholarship.<\/p>\n

The Peter J. Carril Memorial Fund awards one scholarship, $2,500, annually to a graduating Liberty High School senior basketball player.<\/p>\n
