Welcome to Marvine Elementary School, home of the mustangs! We are looking forward to an exciting and successful 2018-2019 school year! Marvine is a Community School in connection with St. Luke’s University Health Network, the United Way of the Lehigh Valley and many other community partners. Marvine is also a Leader In Me school following the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People to ensure all our students become leaders.

The mission of Marvine is to ensure success for all students by creating an all encompassing system of support so that each student continuously demonstrates progress. The school staff and community partners help us achieve this mission daily. Our teachers have high, but realistic expectations for their students because they are convinced that high expectations bring high results. Marvine’s community connections help support our families with services and after school programs.

At Marvine, we work hard to educate the whole child, which starts with attendance. We expect the children who attend Marvine to be at school and on time daily. We support the United Way’s Strive for Five campaign where students are encouraged to miss no more than five days of school the entire year.

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to extend an invitation for you to visit our school and become an active member of your child’s education. Our school is really your community. I look forward to working with all of you this year.
