The Spring Garden Elementary School Vocal Music Program comprises every student in the school. Students in 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade perform in the Winter Concert along with the 5th Grade Instrumental Students. Students in Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and 5th Grade perform in the Spring Vocal Concert. The Vocal Concerts are culminations of what has been learned in the General Music Classes. Everything that the children have learned throughout the year plays a part in their concert preparation and each Vocal Concert revolves around a specific theme. In the General Music Classes and the Vocal Concert Programs we strive to develop musicianship, music literacy, music appreciation, and confidence in singing and performing to mention just a few goals. The students and I look forward to an exciting year, and we can’t wait for you to come see our concerts.

The Spring Garden Elementary Instrumental Music Program gives students the opportunity to discover the joy of making music through band and string instruments. Students develop musicianship, confidence, teamwork, and responsibility through weekly lessons, rehearsals, and performances. Our program strives to create a positive and encouraging environment where every student can grow as a musician while building skills and a love of music that can last a lifetime.
