Spring Garden is one of sixteen elementary schools in the Bethlehem Area School District in Bethlehem, PA. Grades range from kindergarten through fifth grade with an enrollment of over 530 students.
The school is a one-story, all-brick structure. Originally built in 1958, the building was completely renovated and expanded in 1992. It is located at 901 North Boulevard in the northeast section of the city off Linden Street.
The four wings of Spring Garden house twenty-six classrooms. There are smaller rooms used by the guidance counselor, reading specialists, special education staff, an ESL teacher, and a teacher of the gifted.
Additionally, the building has a large office, a day care room, an art room with a kiln, an instrumental music room, and a vocal music room. Also on site are a large gymnasium, an all-purpose room which serves as a cafeteria or auditorium, and a well equipped library.
The building sits on 15.1 acres of land. A large playground and baseball field are located near the building. We are proud of our building, our staff, our students and families who make up our school community.
