They are organized by subject area and grade and include ELA (grades 3-8), cognates, literary terms and devices for language arts, math, science, and social studies. They are acceptable accommodations for ELs to use in standardized testing where word-to-word dictionaries are permitted.
TransACT® Parent Notices is provided to all educators in Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) in collaboration with the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU). One can find translations of TransACT’s ESSA Parent Notices into seventeen different languages.
