Congratulations to seniors Chris Giannaris, Lilyanna Nowak, and Tommy Forscht! As a requirement for Dr. Draper’s Honors Government and Economics class last spring, students prepared town hall essays that focused on the sustainability of Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley. Dr. Draper submitted the essays to the editors of the Sustainability Journal that promotes the voices of young people on vital community concerns. Chris wrote about the housing crisis in Bethlehem. Lilyanna wrote about the impact of plastic bag use in the Lehigh Valley. Tommy focused his essay on the need to educate about recycling and its impact on the environment.
