Liberty’s Aevidum’s club created a 60 second video PSA that has made it to the finals of the Precent Suicide PA contest.

The word Aevidum, which means “I’ve got your back,” was the name chosen for an anti-suicide group formed by Lancaster County, Pennsylvania students after they lost a classmate to suicide. What started in one tiny school  has now become a nationwide movement, which Liberty’s students have joined.

It is the goal of our students to raise awareness for Mental Health. As a club, Avendium aims to uplift the student body with reminders that they are important and are beautiful in their own ways. Our school is so diverse and we are so proud of that. There are so many individuals here that create an amazing community, just by being themselves. In a would filled with rush, instant satisfaction and constant reminders of who we are expected to be, it is always good to slow down, thank those around us and bring a smile to the faces in our hallways.
