Our Canes Football team lost to Easton 38-20 on Friday in the second round of district playoffs. This was the best season our football has had in many years and they were so fun to watch and cheer on during the season. Scoring for Liberty were: Antonio Fontanez to Zyaire Davis for a 57 yard passing TD; Antonio Fontanez to Zyaire Davis for a 24 yard passing TD; Antonio Fontanez to Jayvion White for a 10 yard passing TD and Christian Hackett had 2 extra points.
Winter sports will be starting this Friday with tryouts. Winter sports consist of basketball, swimming, wrestling, rifle and winter track. Hopefully we will see many of you at the various games, meets and matches over the winter sports season!!
If you enjoy watching sports, we will be hosting a 2A state field hockey playoff game on Tuesday night in the stadium at 6:00 and also the district xi final football game between Easton and Parkland on Friday night at 7:00.
