Mr. Clore and Mr. Young came to Liberty today to talk to Mr. Terry’s ninth grade U.S. History classes. They spoke about the history of Bethlehem Steel and how Bethlehem Steel was involved in American wars from the Civil War all the way up to the classes current topic, WWII. They spoke about their specific jobs at the plant and what types of products were made at Bethlehem Steel. Clore and Young shared their experiences working at Bethlehem Steel and talked about the different types of war materials and weapons that were made at the plant and how important it was for the war effort.
Mr. Clore and Mr. Young spoke to Mr. Terry's 9th grade US History students about the history of Bethlehem Steel and its involvement with the wars.
