Young Professionals Council Scholarship

Here is the link for more information on how students can apply to the YPCS Scholarship that celebrates seniors who excel academically and also have an impact in the community.

The deadline for the application is March 13th. Student recipients will be notified in April and be recognized in person at the Sneaker Ball on April 17th.

ALSO for Seniors – It is not too early to make sure your Senior class dues are paid.  Dues are $125 total for all four years at Liberty and cover items such as your cap and gown, yearbook, senior breakfast, and other senior perks!  Check with Mr. Somerville or Mr. Orlando if you are unsure if you already paid.  Dues are accepted by cash or check made out to “Class of 2026” and can be dropped off to Mr. Somerville in room 820 or Mr. Orlando in room 038.

The 2026-27 FAFSA form is open! We’re excited to share that the 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is now live and available to the public at fafsa.gov.

This launch is a major milestone in our collective effort to ensure that students have timely access to financial aid. With your continued support, we can help more students and families take this critical step toward making college and career training more affordable and accessible. – PDE/ED.GOV

Good news! We’ve made it simple to access your unofficial transcript for your college applications. Here are the four quick steps:

  1. Log into Naviance Student and navigate to the main Colleges tab.
  2. Look for the Apply to College section in the third column and select Manage Transcripts.
  1. On the Manage Transcripts page, click the “Download unofficial transcripts” link or button you see at the top right.

You may be prompted to select the specific transcript files you wish to download (e.g., initial transcript, mid-year, or final). After selecting, click the final Download button to save the unofficial copy.

That’s it! Having this handy will help you with a lot of the forms you need to complete this senior year.

*Health Room Updates*

Please print, sign, and return the required forms below for 25-26 School Year:

Vision Referral Letters: You may have received a letter stating that your child failed their vision screening at school. If you received this letter, please make arrangements as soon as possible to have their vision checked with an optometrist/ophthalmologist. If you do not have insurance and need assistance obtaining glasses, please reach out to the school nurses.

11th Grade Reminder: All 11th graders need a copy of a physical examination on file for the 25-26 school year and will need documentation of a meningococcal vaccine after age 16 prior to the start of 12th grade. We can accept physicals dating back to July 1, 2024. Please remember to send a copy of your most recent physical to the nurse, or schedule an appointment with your doctor if you have not had a physical recently. If you do not have a doctor/health insurance, and would like to have your physical completed at school, please contact the school nurse as soon as possible. In-school physicals will be conducted April 15, 2026 – parental consent is required in order to sign up.

Medications in School:

Please remember that students are not allowed to carry medications on their person unless they have a doctor’s note and it has been approved by the school nurse. This includes asthma inhalers and EpiPens. Please have your child’s doctor complete the Authorization for Medication During School Hours and return to the health room with a parent signature.

Medical Conditions:

Please remember to update the school nurses on any medical conditions your child has that may affect their ability to learn. This helps us to ensure that students are receiving the necessary care in school to achieve academic success.

Donations:

Please consider donating snacks (i.e., pretzels, saltine crackers, gluten-free, etc.) and drinks (i.e., water bottles and juice boxes) to the health room. We thank you, in advance, for your generosity!
